21.01.2022 #UPDATE 10.35AM MISSING MAN FOUND The missing man has been found safe and well. Police have thanked the public for their assistance. ... ---------- BREAKING: MISSING MAN, MOUNT ISA UPDATE AUGUST 26: Burketown, Doomadgee and Camooweal officers are actively patrolling the Camooweal/Gregory area and Mount Isa officers are assisting. Police are still relying on public information and asking for any sightings of the vehicle to the reported immediately. Previously: Police are seeking assistance from the community to locate a man missing since yesterday afternoon (August 24). Scott Harrison left an address on Moore Crescent, Mornington, sometime after 12pm yesterday, after collecting camping supplies. Scott left the address in a Holden Colorado bearing Queensland registration plates 668 XSZ. Police believe he may be travelling towards the Gregory via the Camooweal to Gregory road. Police said his behaviour is out of character and they and his family hold concern for his welfare. Scott is described as 185cm tall with brown hair, a fair complexion and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a fluro yellow and blue work shirt, blue jeans with a red and grey baseball cap. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police as soon as possible. : QPS
