18.01.2022 Bit of a Rant and long winded or just look at pretty pictures . Hey folks like all or most retail businesses Antique Shops have been closed but most who have an online presence have still been trading. I usally do not sell online but have had to as the bills keep coming . Having not sold anthing on Ebay at all for 5 or 6 years I must admit I was a bit out of practise .Had some good results with some hard to find items and they more or less bought what I had on them in the s...hop . I also put up some items to show you sold through the shop from Advertising or phone orders. Photo 1. The first piece was a Very Rare Citrine Glass nappy bowl by Crown Crystal Australia { Company that made Carnival Glass among others things . } Measures 14 cm x 4cm . Only a few of these are known . Sold for $531.00 a good result in the shop it was priced at $475.00 . Photo 2. Hard to find Kangaroo Nappy bowl in Rosaline pink also by Crown Crystal Australia , sold online for shop price of $220.00 . Photo 3 . 1966 round fifty cent pieces which are 80 % Silver x 50 Sold for $11.00 each I usually sell these for $10.00. Photo 4.Golden fleece plastic Tops new old stock .$100.00 each same price in Shop . Photo 5.Fowlers Vacola Milk billy with with tags to say how much milk you would like the Milko to leave in excellent condition Sold for $500.00 .This is the second one I have found in about six months they are very hard to find . I may never find another one . Sold in the shop . Photo 6 . More 1966 fifty cent pieces 2 x 2 holders Sold for $11.00 each . Photo 7 . Golden Fleece Duo top $ 81.00 online was a bit more in the shop . Photo8. Rare Metters 8 inch Camp oven the first I have seen .Sold for $693.00 . This was priced at $750.00 in the shop which is what it ended up being with postage . Photo 9 & 10 .This is a set of three 1933 Noritake Graduating Jugs made for the Australian market for one year only sold for $495.00 shop price through an Advertisment I had in Antiques & Collectables for pleaser & profit Produed by the Carter Sisters .Check this magazine out great reading with some wonderful contributors . The girls have a new price guide out soon as well. As you can see some of these items sold for good prices but when you know how hard to find they are should put it into perspective . Do your homework because I would have . So I decided to put these images up with prices because I have had a lot of people ask what I sell things for and do you get your prices so that answer is yes . Usually I do not like to say what I sell things for to protect my customers privacy . We do not know what is going to happen in the next few years it will not be good for some of us but others will thrive because it will no doubt be a different . Happy hunting and collecting and stay safe .
