Never do you need to argue, justify or suppress your feelings even if they are completely irrational or unspeakable. You have the right to feel whatever comes up and to allow this to be real for you in the moment. When you need to stop, pause, reflect and consider is whether to act on these emotions as if they were the truth. Emotions are valid, real and felt but they not the truth about you, others or your situation. Feel what you need but do not act as you wish.
