23.01.2022 BIG NEWS...... iSEE Programs has relocated to our great nation’s capital! Please like and share, so I can get the word out there! Got recycling issues? Want to learn about FOGO?... Are you an ELC undergoing accreditation? Want to make your workplace, early learning centre (ELC) or school more sustainable? Just want to generate less garbage going to landfill? I can help you with all of that, and quite a bit more. Moving up from the Far South Coast has meant a much broader client base, for sustainability magic to happen! See more

19.01.2022 I’ve often wondered whether cruise companies operate responsibly and sustainably. Obviously they don’t, but they’d like you to believe they do. I’ve never been on a cruise. Looks like I won’t be changing that anytime soon.... #floatingenvironmentalnightmare ... #sustainability #cruisingforabruising See more

19.01.2022 In case anyone was wondering.... #youdoyouboo #ifitfeelsgooddoit #foodgardening #iseeprograms #sustainability #dontgetyourbitsburnt

17.01.2022 We all know this creates massive environmental problems, yet we still do it. Why????!!!! Does the loss of a loved one, or observance of a social issue, mitigate the damage caused by such a display? Is it reasonable to kill a number of animals, just because you suffered a loss in your family? No.... No, it isn’t. Blow bubbles instead - they’re prettier, more fun and they don’t cause such awful collateral damage. See more

15.01.2022 It makes my heart smile, to see governments embracing such progressive behaviour. Well done, US! May all your states follow Washington.

14.01.2022 I would love to run a library like this one day Thanks Anthony Hill from Plastic Pollution Solutions

12.01.2022 If you’re in Sydney, go get yourself some!

11.01.2022 One of my wonderfully switched on friends, Tina Britten sent me this. I love love LOVE this idea!!!!

11.01.2022 Oh, this makes me smile. You know how I always talk about small, incremental changes being better than huge, sweeping ones? This is a good example of that. It’s nothing to put your fruit & veg in a paper bag, rather than a plastic one. No one is expecting you to walk around with loose snow peas falling from your trolley, like Hansel & Gretel’s crumbs. You’re simply swapping plastic for paper - easy. They’ll store better in the fridge, too.

11.01.2022 What a magical day it is in Canberra! The weather is warming up and it’s a great time to get that vege patch going! Guess what? You can even have one in your office! Yes! You can! It’s super easy.

11.01.2022 A hit and a miss. Next time, put measures in place to keep the plastic around the plants and out of the waterway.

11.01.2022 Borrowed from Anthony Hill, a great article on flipping the way we manage plastics. Thinking end of life is simply not good enough #banplastics #iseeprograms #sustainability #education #environment

10.01.2022 You can still be fabulous without the use of glitter.... Unicorns do it. #sustainability #iseeprograms #banglitter

09.01.2022 Hello and welcome to iSEE Programs! Is your early learning centre struggling with sustainability and environmental education? It doesn't have to. I approach Education for Sustainability (EfS) from a different perspective than most. After 5 years working in Waste Management, I consult from a waste reduction perspective, using the Three Rs Principle - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. If you want to make a REAL difference to the planet and your child's future, I'd love to help you achieve it! #sustainability #education #iSEEPrograms #oneplanetjustone #EfS

08.01.2022 SBS Australia, right now. We should all be watching this. If you’re not watching now, catch it later on SBS On Demand. #SBSaustralia #sustainability #banplastics #iseeprograms

07.01.2022 Anthony Hill, Kerryn Wood, myself and countless others will continue to rain on your parade - whether it be weddings, funerals, graduations, birthdays, coz it’s Tuesday, or whatever..... Stop being ignorant and entitled humans and start seeing some sense. Cast flower seeds instead - in time, they’ll pop up here and there, reminding you of that special day; and you won’t have murdered any sea life! Happy? Good.... Carry on, then.... See more

05.01.2022 Another inspiring day at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick. There’s a lovely nature play area outside, and along with the fantastic cutlery I posted yesterday, I’m so impressed with the set up here. Guys, if there’s any way I can help you create more nature play areas for the children, or upcycled arts ideas, or even a fabulous vertical food garden outside, please let me know. It would be an absolute delight and privilege to be able to repay you for your amazing work. #iSEEprograms #sustainability #recycle #natureplay #environment #education

04.01.2022 Good news, Canberra!! From late October 2019, iSEE will have space available for new clients! Are you an office-based business looking to improve your sustainability footprint? Are you an early learning centre struggling with sustainability accreditation?? Are you a school trying to teach your students real sustainability skills that are actually realistic???... I CAN HELP! I’ve spent over 7 years working in Waste Management, and I’ve learned many great tricks that you can use today to improve sustainability in your workplace! #iSEEprograms #oneplanetjustone #sustainability #education #recycle #recycling #upcycle See more

03.01.2022 Whilst on a trek in Canberra yesterday, I picked up some litter on Mt Ainslie. Here’s a good example of what happens when plastic is left out in the elements - micro plastics. We cleared as much as we could and ensured it was disposed of properly. #iseeprograms #microplastics #sustainability #education #bansingleuseplastic #oneplanetjustone #mtainslienaturereserve

03.01.2022 I’m currently taking a well earned holiday in Phuket, and I’ve been noticing how diligent the Thai people are regarding recycling. There’s a strange dichotomy in play, here - Thailand uses a lot of single use plastics, but they recycle absolutely everything. And yes, I have been taking Three For The Sea and then some, during my snorkeling tours.

02.01.2022 Pass it on!.....
