We will be OPEN TONIGHT for our last session. We will be using tonight's session to have some fun and go out with a positive attitude and our ISHIN spirit. I would like to encourage family, parents and siblings to join in on tonight's class. Bring your gi, or comfortable clothes, a water bottle and a big smile!! 16.01.2022 After a massive weekend id like to share how proud i am of my students that both competed and trained in the 3k course. Friday night at the 3k course Alana put more than 110% of her energy in to train the best she could. It paid off!! Congratulations to Alana on getting top student at the course. Awarded by Sensei Ticky, Sensei Bruce & Sensei Edji. ... Saturday at the Peninsula Championships showed that hard work, practice and a little bit of self belief can go a long way! Congratulations to Sharmayn on kicking butt in kata and receiving GOLD. And also to Gemma who fought till the very end coming a very proud 4th place in kumite! Thank you to Abbey who stepped up as a brown belt and became the perfect mentor for those who needed a bit of guidance. Well done to everyone over the weekend. 02.01.2022 KIDS SELF DEFENCE FREE ... Hi everyone, My name is Tamara. I have been the owner and head instructor of Ishinryu Karate Echuca for the last 5 years. Karate is an absolutely amazing sport with so many benefits but the main one being SELF DEFENCE. I want to donate my time to all the local school students of Echuca, Moama and surroundings. Primary and High School. Teaching all children the basics and must know of stranger danger awareness and self defence.
