12.01.2022 ENTER THE TEMPLE - A Winter Solstice Invitation - Merriwa, 21 June If you, like me, are a woman who derives strength, meaning and purpose from your connection with the divine feminine, or if your heart is guiding you to explore this as a new possibility, i would love to hear from you. **I'll be entering the temple on Friday 21 June to touch base with the winter solstice energies of darkness, release and rebirth. If you can get to Merriwa for a 6:30pm start, and you feel draw...n to join me, please get in touch. ** After a couple of years of time out, I'm once again feeling the pull to enter the temple of the Goddess and celebrate Her holy mysteries. In this work I hold space for a sacred feminine devotional path dedicated to personal and planetary transformation - an invitation to stay connected to the great work of our times, in however small and humble a way, in our ordinary lives as twenty first century humans. Creating and sharing sacred ceremony has long been one of the most satisfying forms of self-expression and service for me, and during the fallow periods where Im not actively engaged in this kind of work i miss it greatly. Quite a lot of years ago now, I acknowledged an inner calling to walk the priestess path and dedicated myself to the service of the Great Goddess through self-created ritual. Over the years a variety of experiences and inspirations have flowed from this original commitment. One of the most compelling has been the evolution of a sacred feminine mystery ceremony cycle - a multifaceted sacred reality which continues to develop and evolve. It has taken me a couple of years to ground into our new home in Merriwa, but now that I have I am ready to step back in to the temple space and see what might unfold here. Looking forward to hearing from you if you'd like to know more. Blessings, Ishara

01.01.2022 This parable has circulated around the internet over the last couple of years in different forms. I'm searching who was the first writer. Any idea? In a mother’...s womb were two babies. One asked the other: Do you believe in life after delivery? The other replied, Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later. Nonsense said the first. There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be? The second said, I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now. The first replied, That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded. The second insisted, Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore. The first replied, Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one has ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere. Well, I don’t know, said the second, but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us. The first replied Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now? The second said, She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist. Said the first: Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist. To which the second replied, Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.
