24.01.2022 What a show! The Queanbeyan 4x4 spectacular lived up to its unrivaled reputation with an absolutely fantastic show. Full of 4x4 equipment, caravan and camper trailer exhibitors and crowds of off-highway adventure enthusiasts who braved the scorching hot weather to sample the best the industry had to offer. The guys from Trackabout had two trailers configured with iSi bicycle carriers as did Ultimate Campers who proudly displayed their new iSi extreme duty bicycle carrier option on their range of awesome off-road camper trailers. We were also lucky to have a go on the show test track to demonstrate just how easy it is to take your good bicycles off-road (https://youtu.be/npPuddrDQD8). A fantastic weekend and a fair bit of cash raised for bushfire recovery operations. A great result for everybody!
22.01.2022 The iSi Bicycle Carrier is a perfect fit for vehicles like this @Toyota FJCruiser carrying electric bikes. The iSi carrier’s pivot point, right at the base of the tow bar enables lowering of the entire assembly bikes included, for full range opening of the wide, side hinged door. The carrier assembly clears the large spare wheel on the back door and 40-degree departure angle means you can safely take the bikes wherever the vehicle (and your imagination) takes you.
22.01.2022 After more than 100 long days, metropolitan and regional Victoria is united once more. It won’t be long before freedom of movement throughout Australia is once again the norm and some serious adventure is in order to celebrate (safely of course)! It’s been a huge effort by all Australians to keep us safe. This time last year iSi founders Mel and George were deep in the outback with a pair of luscious Muru Cycles Titanium fat bikes on the bulletproof Kimberley Kampers Karavan. Today you might just smell his tyre smoke as the boss leaves skid marks down the driveway!

18.01.2022 We are constantly monitoring recommendations and guidelines from the relevant health authorities. Parts of Victoria are under Stage 3 restrictions and as a Melbourne based operation, there are a few changes to our normal operation. We have temporarily stopped all public access to our manufacturing facility and showroom until further notice. Since we manufacture from 100% Australian steels and materials, we haven’t been affected by supply issues and our manufacturing facility in Melbourne continues to run flat out. 14.01.2022 Paul and Claire are having a ball with their Stockman Products POD Trailer fitted with an iSi Bicycle Carrier. This set up is built for off-road adventure on either the trailer or the back of their Prado and their trip through the Flinders Ranges SA will put it to the test! They had this to say about their experience using their iSi Extreme Duty Bicycle Carrier: It tilts perfectly and easily so we can access the toolbox. It is solid and holds it nicely at 80km/h on corrugated tracks :). We can also have the roof top tent opened and tilt the trailer lid fully all of this with bikes on the rack!. There are fabulous bike trails through the Flinders Ranges and having instant access to mountain bikes makes the most out of visiting this ancient and rugged landscape. Have fun guys!
09.01.2022 Here at iSi we constantly review and update the perfect Extreme Duty carrier configuration for all vehicles on the market. We recently updated the configuration for Jeep’s latest off-road weapon the iconic 2020 Wrangler. Our customer came in to have his new 4x4x2 bicycle carrier fitted before a weekend away. He was blown away by the pivot down (all the way) function and how easy it was to access the back of the car with the carrier fully loaded. Mel sent us these of their Jayco Eagle with the Extreme Duty 4x4x4 carrier and Jayco bolt-on drawbar mount. Keeping it all safe and legal with the option to swap to the back of the Prado for even more off-road fun. Mel wrote: We have just returned from out trip to Adelaide and Renmark. 07.01.2022 We last saw Ralph from @askingfordirectionsau back in May before he was to embark on his incredible Australia Geographic Expedition around Australia. He stopped by (in his incredible @earthcruiseraustralia rig Brutus) at iSi HQ, with his co-pilot Rani to share some stories of his adventures from over 40,000km so far. Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing some content from his travels be prepared for some serious trip inspiration! The next leg of Ralph’s trip will be through Tasmania and then up to the central desert region of the mainland. Josh’s awesome Toyota Tacoma has the whole family out and camping in the wilds of Alaska with a pair of fat bikes in winter snow or all mountain bikes in summer. 03.01.2022 After a recent trip to the Grampians to test out his new iSi rack, our customer Andrew had this to say about the flexibility of swapping the carrier between the van and the car: It was great to be able to take the bikes on the van to the camp site and then move them to the car to take them on the bike trails. The rack has been great, and we look forward to using it on more trips!. P.S. We love the shot of the Prado’s side hinged, barn door open with the caravan hitched and bikes loaded. You never know when you’re going to need to get to the back of the car, quickly and easily when travelling with kids!!
03.01.2022 Flexibility and functionality are key when traveling with kids and with the Australian summer break fast approaching, now’s the time to sort out the gear! The iSi Extreme Duty Bicycle Carrier takes the hassle out of travelling with bikes (and kids or at least traveling with kids’ bikes). Simply loosen a couple of fasteners to unload and hop on the bikes to ride into town along that scenic riverside trail to get that ice cream.

Busy day with caravan and camper trailer manufacturers as well, so keep an eye out for announcements regarding bolt-on extreme duty bicycle carrier products on Track Trailer’s Tvan and the new luxury T4 as well as the innovative EXP 4 and EXP 6 from BruderX back to our traditional scene on equipment to get out into the rough stuff and have a ball.
