22.01.2022 My Quraan teacher, may Allah reward her, has been giving us the same advice every single week in class: "if you want to master the recitation; you must recite ...the prescribed Surah once while listening to a Qaari (online/CD), then reciting the same Surah to someone at home, then reciting the same Surah alone - recording self and listening to self is recommended, then reciting it to your teacher"... Its honestly the best advice as mastery of anything is all about practice... Thats *a lot* of recitation one may say... but if "a lot" is not given to the Quran (our key to happiness and success), then nothing is else is deserving of our "a lot"! To be honest, every week I try to find an excuse not attend the class; as I feel I didnt prepare enough, memorised well or whatever as Im struggling - but decided to embrace the struggle and never miss it no matter what in Sha Allah (even if I get a zero in my tests... Planning to embrace the ego humiliation and return lol) How is your Quran journey going? Whats your daily routine like with the Quran? Really need some motivation!
