24.01.2022 Congratulations to Robyn Emery who is celebrating 10 years of service with ALPA today! After starting with ALPA in 2010 at the Gapuwiyak Store in Arnhem Land NT, Robyn has worked in several of our stores and in the Darwin Office. Robyn is currently managing our Horn Island Supermarket. At 27, I signed a 2-year contract and I ventured into the unknown, to do what I love as a retailer in remote Australia. 10 years later, every day is still an enjoyable part of my life. I have... met so many people and relished every moment along the way, taking in the culture, sights and sharing of knowledge. It’s been a rewarding, enriching and an invigorating experience to live and work in the most remote, beautiful and traditional areas of Australia. Thank you to everyone along the way who has assisted in making my journey what it has been today. I’m passionate and committed to the mission we all proudly uphold. Thanks, Robyn, for all your hard work and sharing the last decade with us.

24.01.2022 Island&Cape donated fresh fruit and waters to the kids of Aurukun at yesterday’s school holiday Splash Park activity. We’re happy to work with the Aurukun Shire Council to support local activities all year round.

07.01.2022 ALPA’s nutrition policy has existed since the 1980s, when we initiated a freight subsidy on Fresh Fruit and Veg. This subsidy has since expanded to freight on tinned and frozen veg, and fresh dairy. And as you can see our RANGE has expanded about twenty -fold! From 3 doors of fruit and veg to 5 doors plus ambient displays. ALPA is proud of our fresh produce and the ways we support our customers to better access healthy food.
