23.01.2022 For those of you starting the day with a lemon water and are concerned for the health of your teeth, we cannot tell you enough the best solution is to steer clear or reduce this morning ritual. Over time, routine consumption of lemon water will cause your teeth enamel to break down and become weak. Although if you would like to continue drinking the citric acid filled drink daily make sure you rinse your mouth out with water afterwards and DO NOT brush your teeth for at least 30 minutes.

22.01.2022 Our top tips for reducing teeth sensitivity are as follows: Desensitizing toothpaste. There are several brands of toothpaste for sensitive teeth available. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush. 04.01.2022 As the Australian Dental Association has lifted the Level 5 restrictions back to Level 1 earlier this week, we will continue to look after your dental needs while still adhering to the guidelines issued from the Australian Government and Australian Dental Association. As you enter our practice a patient health declaration form will still be required to be completed for each appointment together with having your temperature checked. As mentioned in today's press release Island Dental will be adhering to the new QR code tracing as of December 1 which will be available for scanning in our patient foyer.
