17.01.2022 The last two years have been full of travel, adventure and change. Sometimes the change has been greatly anticipated and other times it’s been resisted- Isn’t this just the nature of change? In the last 12 months I’ve felt a call to ground and anchor in one place for a little while and this is when Rhys Uhlich and I decided to invest in a business which I knew we could grow some roots from- Island Healing- hence the name change from Kali yoga on this page .... I was fortun...ate enough to move into a space where so many beautiful souls were already busy sharing their love and helping others heal. My heart felt full and instantly I knew I was home. During our time of transitioning into the business we lost a woman who inspired me to want to commit and work as hard as she did. Beautiful Sharon, as many of you knew and loved, taught me about fear and how to never let it change the course of which your heart knows to take. This lesson was special in that it was never spoken about, I simply witnessed it from her everyday. She was a living example of how to live from your heart no matter what comes your way. I’ll be forever grateful to a woman who taught me the value of true strength, determination, vulnerability, will and discipline whilst sharing all her love at the same time. Helplessness, is a feeling I’ve felt whilst processing Shazzie’s absence and I felt the least I could do was offer to keep one of her forms of healing from fading out so that we never forget just how incredible this woman was. So it it is with great honour that I will be jumping in to continue on with one of Sharons loves- Churchill island yoga. This runs at 9:00am - 10:30am every Saturday morning. Classes will resume next Saturday the 16th x Hope to see you there xo
