24.01.2022 While it is great to see Mick Keelty in a senior position to investigate and fight the corruption.But Mr Keelty doesn’t have the genuine power to compel those i...nvestigated to provide all the facts and financial histories. At a minimum he should be given real power to investigate. There are a number of individuals who are responsible in part for the the precarious position of the river, some of them pictured below. Some are understood to be under investigation, others are not. We need to uncover properly those who are responsible for deception, misinformation , maladministration or corruption that has been exposed relating to the River systems destruction. We must keep the pressure on the government as we must have a federal Royal Commission .It is only through a Royal Commission that people are compiled to answer. We hope the NSW ICAC have done their job correctly ,time will soon tell. Federally those who potentially need investigation have no government body needed to investigate the corruption that has killed the Darling River and Mennidee lakes. Repeatedly the LNP government refuse to support a federal ICAC to investigate potential corruption in the federal government.As we have seen on the River the Federal ICAC is desperately need.
