It’s jam packed with catchy tunes - I literally had one stuck in my head for soooo long after mastering it Anyways, the EP is out now so be sure to check it out so you too can have the same chorus going over and over in your mind every morning in the shower for a month.

21.01.2022 Some more very exciting news from the Island Studios HQ. Nick Pipe has joined our team as our Business and Communications Assistant! If you're a part of the Adelaide music scene, or just like to get out and support local music, you'll quite possibly recognise Nick. Nick is the frontman of Mogerlaine and also plays guitar with Ghyti, as well as being involved in a few new musical ventures that I'm sure you'll hear more about soon! Being an avid supporter of local music himsel...f, he has also worked on air at Radio Adelaide. Outside of music, Nick has worked for several years in communications and marketing positions for both national and international companies. He has recently decided to hit the books once again though, recently commencing his Honours Degree in Journalism. In line with this, one initiative that Nick is keen to get stuck into at Island Studios is interviewing bands in the studio about their experiences and processes whilst recording, as well as the lead up to booking studio time. I'm sure this will be a great insight into how albums come about and are created! All in all, we're super stoked to have Nick join the team here at Island!!! Everyone say hello to Nick

16.01.2022 Vocal Booth Bass Trap Update. Thought I’d share a little time lapse of the progress. This trap is approx 2440 x 940 x 200 in size. The insulation in this one is 100mm of 60kg/m^3 rockwool + 50mm of 100kg/m^3 rockwool. Tied some string across panel so all the insulation doesn’t fall out when I stand it up. I also used some fabric interface to keep all the fibres wrapped neatly inside the panel, whilst not affecting sound transmission into the panel. ... 06.01.2022 There’s been so many exciting projects happening in the studio lately that I haven’t had time to post about them. But today involved more mixing for @lostwoodsmusic and @idyllsmusic, followed by a delightful afternoon recording and filming some live music with the one and only Vorn Doolette! When I was around 19/20 years old I used to go to every gig I could of Vorn’s. Now a decade and a bit later here we are in the studio together. Such a wonderful singer/songwriter!
