22.01.2022 A massive thank you to all ISL 2015 team sponsors! Without their generous support, the competition would not have been possible.

22.01.2022 MENS SEMI FINALS REVIEWS Oven Creative 87 defeated by DickfosDunnAdam Eagles 94 They sometimes say that it is a game of two halves. I don’t agree with that. Basketball has many shifts of momentum and this game was a perfect example of it. Oven came out ready, with Max Merz being aggressive and took an early lead, only for the Eagles to take the lead on the back of Sullivan’s sweet shooting. Olah and Lomakin started to get their flow and Oven pushed out to a 14 point lead in t...he second quarter. On the back of great rebounding by Iti and Sutton, Eagles came right back (11FTM in the second quarter??). Half way through the third quarter with Oven up 3, Ralphy hit two back to back CARPARK trey’s to give DDAE a big push. Big Dog Waite fouled out on some very weak calls and Oven got a little frustrated. Eagles pushed the lead to 8 with 4 minutes to go and it looked like wheels was finally going to get his maiden semi win but NO. Lydiard and Olah scored and cut the game to 1 point with over a minute to play. With the game on a knife edge Ralph hit a great floater to give the Eagles a 3 point lead (Ralphy was a monster in this game after losing his flow the last month). Oven missed their next shot, but a heads up play by Sasha shuffled the ball to Anto who shuffled his feet and scored. TRAVEL! Contentious call. Iti scored the next play and when Lomakin didn’t get a call on his next 3 the game was over and finally the hoodoo was broke. STEVE WEILAND FINALLY IN THE BIG GAME Top Scorers Ralph 36, Olah 32, Sutton 20 Torque Money 76 defeat Legassick 70 Great game followed a great game. ISL where Parity rulez. Torque Money busted out of the gates with Zac Bourne going nuts with 9 points in the first 4 minutes. Legassicks settled and stayed with Torque Money for most of the first half through Jake Allen and most of the team chipping in (except Harris who was cold). However the old firm of Darragh/McGregor/Robertson took the game to a 6 point lead at the main break. Starting the third Hughy broke the game out to a 13 point lead and barfly’s Harris and Croker were squealing in delight of crowd favourite Robertson’s explosion. Once again Legassicks answered. Jake Allen was everywhere, young gun Robinson was fearless and Parata and Harris hit 3’s to bring the game back to 4 points at time. Both teams struggled to score and points were at a premium, Legassick making hustle plays to stay in the game. 3 points up with 2 mins to go McGregor made a massive and1 to give Torque money some breathing space. Hughy iced the game with some ft’s and MONEY TALKS AND LEGASSICK WALKS Respect to G and Legassicks for punching above their weight all year. Jesse Bell is a star. Harris thinks he is. Jake Allen made his bones as the season went on. Top Scorers Jake Allen (27) Respect!, Robertson (20) MVP, Jesse Bell (14) on a bad wrist
