23.01.2022 Congratulations to Desert Sands Isle of DBling, winner of the Champion all round performer at Dressage and Jumping with the Stars 2019! The stunning 4 year old Holsteiner gelding won the Rising Star Championship for conformation, placed 3rd in the 4 year old Dressage section and 6th in the 4 year old Show Jumping! Desert Sands Isle of DBling, or Bling to his friends, is the oldest progeny of our superbly bred stallion Somerset DIsle. DIsle was bred by Steve Noonan and pu...rchased by Isle of Wight Farm as a 2 year old. DIsle is by the supreme champion Holsteiner stallion Diarado and his dam is by the supreme champion stallion Balou du Rouet. Bling is bred in the purple on his dam side also being out of Isle of Calais, by Isle of Salsbury who was by Grand Flaneur out of Barrabadeen Shanty who was by Wildfeuer (IMP) from a Fahnrich (IMP) mare. DBling was purchased and named after his 4 white socks and big white blaze by Bronwyn Shortt as a foal when she saw a photo of him and then just had to meet him! She clearly recognised the horses quality and potential. A big thank you and credit to Bronwyn who has trained and educated this lovely, talented youngster whose temperament is second to none from breaker to a true performance horse. 21.01.2022 And the star of the day, Champion Senior and Champion Jumping Horse, Isle of Hemingway (Isle of Aspen (Hol)/Wongalea High Fashion (Hol) who scored a 9 for his jumping and also 9 for his use of the back end. Frank commented particularly on Hemingways shoulder and all over type as a super jumper for the future.

Cor de la Bryere Precipitation XX Farn, Fax I, Nimmerdor, Hear Breaker, Lorenz, Lady Killer XX, Blue Peter XX... Isle of Ascot has the most amazing temperament and his rideability and trainability is second to none. He is modern in build, light, short coupled, athletic and has three top paces. To start the year off on the right hoof (and to give us something positive to think about during these horrific fires) we have David Quick heading... south to us at Harney Park on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th January. Please see booking forms attached. Harney Park is about as risk free in terms of fires as a venue can get and Rhonda Thomson has also offered it as an evacuation site if needed. 11.01.2022 Due to a few technical difficulties (mutter, mutter Telstra...) we have missed Stallion of the Day over the weekend so today well give you two! Although we are happily introducing a number of new stallions this season - dont forget the proven performers; Isle of Aspen and Magnetic Isle! Both of these stallions continue to produce exceptional horses and have many progeny out competing successfully in all three Olympic disciplines. ISLE OF ASPEN... Rocadero, Lander (Imp) Lorenz, Lady Killer (XX) Isle of Aspen is a special stallion by Rocadero (Imp) who was the Champion of his licensing in Germany and from the foundation mare Allegra, who is by Lander. Aspen has produced a number of premium foals from 3 different German classifiers and continues to breed horses who excel in all three of the Olympic disciplines. Just on 16 hands Aspen has the movement of a much bigger horse with a super rhythmic trot, an incredibly buoyant canter and stunning looks. His whole pedigree is full of current champions who need little introduction.... DIsles breeding includes the most up to date mixture of modern warmbloods available in Europe and the world today. His free jumping makes him an exact replica of his sire, the sensational Diarado, who is the No 1 Stallion on the German FN Breeding Values. Diarados dam, (Roxette I) is descended from the Holsteiner dam line 318D2. She is by that champion of broodmares and competition horses, Corrado I. DIsles dam is by another German champion stallion, Balou du Rouet, who won the final qualification of the German Young Horse Championships with a top score of 9.2 and who is already a prolific sire.
