18.01.2022 Breakout Boxes 4-6T, 4-6R and 3/4R have all enjoyed working with their peers to solve problems which enabled them to unlock the breakout boxes within a time limit. Using a variety of clues and tools they decoded a series of 5 different locks. Such a great learning atmosphere from an awesome bunch of kids!

17.01.2022 House Sports Challenge Wattle vs Emu Sports Report by Sam The game was tough with Emu scoring the first goal . As soon as you knew it the game was over , not without Emu having to hold Wattle out right up to until the final whistle , taking the win 4-3.



16.01.2022 Our two senior classes today studied the phases of the moon, using some pretty sophisticated scientific equipment. Needless to say, they were over the...beside themselves.

14.01.2022 A wonderful mixture of Passion Projects presented by 456R. We enjoyed a party, participated in new exciting games and an interactive play. We also observed an origami zoo, a parkour model and a sculpture. It was such a delight to see you all working so well together and being so inventive.

12.01.2022 House Sport Challenge - soccer Wattle vs Banksia Sport Report by Kenny & Eddie Great match and well played by all . The players followed the rules and had great team work skills . Both teams were good sports . They tried extremely hard to win for their house. Banksia won 6-1 , Wattle fought hard only letting 1 goal in in the 2nd half . ... Tomorrow Emu take on Koala . 11.01.2022 Junior AECG Kids Teaching Kids Our Junior AECG meet on Thursdays during their lunch to organise Aboriginal initiatives within our school. In the last week of Term 3 every class was involved. A big thank you to our hardworking 'student teachers' Mirrin, Yvette and Bessie taught K/1A and KN an Aboriginal dance.... Lily and Charly took 1/2C and 2/3S on a bush tucker tour of our school, passing on information that Uncle Perry had taught them. Erin and Evie taught 2-6B, 3/4R and Mrs Harris how to make clay beaded bracelets. Shano, Jedda and Kiran taught 4-6R and 4-6T how to play Keetan, a traditional Aboriginal game. See more

11.01.2022 House Sport Challenge tee-ball Monday Wattle vs Banksia A super tight game , however, Banksia took the lead in the final minutes , winning 5-4. Wednesday ... Koala vs Emu Report by Lola It was a tough game. There was good sportsmanship, leadership and the teams were even . Each team played 2 rounds , Emu was in the lead in the first round but Koala struck back . The final score a tie , 7-7. See more

10.01.2022 House Sport Challenge - soccer Emu vs Koala Sport report by Mahnoz and Sylvie A tough game today, both teams had won their first soccer game last week . In the first half Koala scored and were up by 1. After half time all players spread out and played well in their teams . Koala scored again winning the game 2-0. Congratulations Koala ! ... 08.01.2022 Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots A huge thank you to the Jane Goodall Roots & Shoots program for their generosity in donating a beautiful resource box full of amazing books to our school . The books will be kept in the school library for all children to enjoy .

08.01.2022 Congratulations to our two IPS debating teams who both had victories over Belair PS on Friday. Well done, Mim, Harper, Betsy, Mahnoz and Scarlet, Lily, Sandra and Tama. Shout out to debating supercoach Ms Read also for mentoring these talented performers to achieve to such a high standard.

08.01.2022 3/4R have been working extremely hard to learn our school song in Auslan with Miss Salmon. The Auslan Tutor RIDBC app (rrp $20) is free from 21 - 27 September 2020 in celebration of International Day of Sign Languages.
