17.01.2022 Id like to send out a big Congratulations to Wallace on achieving his Shodan today. It was bloody hot and the grading took just under 3 hours. No small achievement for anyone let alone someone over 60. Age is no barrier if you really want it .

17.01.2022 2 people that came up on my memories yesterday were officially awarded their 2nd Dan Black Belt in Isshinryu last night at training. A big achievement that shows dedication to teaching the style. My heart felt congratulations to Tim Luscombe Sensei and Lisa Luscombe Sensei.

07.01.2022 Stretching and mobility is a big part of being an efficient Martial Artist. The whole dojo warm up and stretch together before starting any techniques. Also reduces the chance of injury. The students even feel a bit better for pushing the limits a bit.
