14.01.2022 What a fantastic effort by the Students of Isshogai karate who competed in the National all styles Australian titles in Qld last weekend. We had a team of 6 mak...e the trip & came home with a 1st a 2nd & a 3rd.This was excellent especially considering most of our experienced guys were,nt there. Congratulations to our new Australian Champion Will Dezius who showed the result of all the hard work he has put in this year. Dane Allison also put in a great effort coming 2nd in his Continuous division. Emma Dezius re - focused in her point Division after getting a painful lesson about keeping her hands up during her continuous Division to fight like i know she can & take 3rd place. Jasmine took a Black tip to extra time going down by one. Tabytha Sellick fought really well winning her first match & going down by split decision in her 2nd. Brad also went down by split decision in his match. Both of these could have went either way. Great job everyone, i am very proud of you all . See more

09.01.2022 What an outstanding effort from the Isshogai Karate Gwandalan Students at the National all styles State Titles on the weekend. We only took a small team of 7 do...wn to Olympic park for the day but they came away with some fantastic results. After winning the State Title last year. Dane Allison went even better this year winning both his points & continuous Sparring division. Will Dezius claimed his first NAS State Title in point Sparring. His little sister Emma came in 2nd in her continuous Sparring division & Tabetha Sculley came 3rd in her Point sparring. While Brad, Sophie & Jasmine Did not place, they gave their best on the day in some close matches & continue to show great improvement. I am very proud of these Students for making the effort to represent their Club & show what we are made of ! See more

Stacey has been one of the most dedicated Students in our Club having hardly mis...sed a class over a period that is coming on 10 years now. As an Instructor one of my chief goals is to produce strong young ladies that will never feel threatened or bullied by anyone. Stacey is an absolutely Brilliant young lady , Martial Artist & person.
