24.01.2022 Pre lock down restrictions are still in place until reviewed. That means Covid Safe Business Plans V17. Swimming for fitness and rehab only. The 14 day suspension of operations should be reviewed early this week. We will notify everyone via Facebook, our web page and sms message. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

23.01.2022 DAY 6 AGE NATIONALS UPDATE The final day of Age Nationals 2021 is nearly over. Super proud of our swimmers who have worked so hard to qualify for their first national championship event. So very impressed with how our swimmers have conducted themselves and how they have performed. They had high expectations of themselves and have performed exceptionally well amongst the best swimmers, their age, in the country. Noah all finished. 6 races and an 11th place in the 200m backstro...ke. Now free to have a surf and start preparing for Aussie SLS Championships. Lochie through to the finals of the 200m freestyle tonight. 7th seed and a good PB. Fifth in Australia in his age group, broke the 2 minute mark. Fantastic swim and PB. We’re privileged to have had this experience and look forward to seeing what IMSC swimmers continue to achieve in the future. The Swimmer Coach partnership is such an important part of what they do, but could not be done without the support of our wonderful families. A special thank you to Team Manager Richard Washington. 15.01.2022 Temporary Closure due to COVID-19 Outbreak --- In light of State Government directives relating to the current COVID-19 outbreak in South Australia, iSwim @ Immanuel College will be closed for at least a fortnight, with the aim of reopening on the morning of Tuesday 1 December. As such, all classes are temporarily suspended and any fees paid in advance will be placed into credit on your family account.... Term 4 will be extended by one week to finish on Sunday 20 December, and any remaining credit can be used towards January 2021 Holiday Intensive Program and Term 1 2021 bookings. 14.01.2022 A timely reminder that COVID-19 restrictions are still in place, and will be for some time. Covid Marshals, contact tracing registration, regular sanitising, physical distancing, no showers, separate entry and exit points, and one parent/carer per family still apply. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and support. A huge shout out to all of our squad families who ‘drop off - leave - pick up’. We know that you love watching your children swim and are so appreciative that you help us keep the focus on our swimmers.

13.01.2022 We are so excited to let you know our wonderful coach Paul Johnson is returning to iSwim @ Immanuel, coming home from Queensland. Rejoining our amazing coaching team. We cannot wait to see you again Paul and have really missed one of our team leaders.

13.01.2022 Last two weeks of the holiday bookings. We are closed Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th, Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th the Australia Day Long Weekend. Bookings, squads and Term 1 lessons resume on Wednesday 27th of January 2021.

12.01.2022 Australian National Age Championships 2021 That’s a wrap for Immanuel Piranhas Well what a finish to 6 days of racing. Lochie getting his best result of the competition with a big PB (2.70 sec) and 5th place in the final of the 14yo 200m freestyle. Initially seeded 11, placed 7th after the heats and finishing 5th in the finals. Strong swim.... Really proud of all our swimmers (Georgia M, Noah P and Lochie W) and very grateful for all the support, advice and encouragement from Grant Muller and Rian Pate who have expertly guided our swimmers through this week. Also very grateful for all the support and effort from Paul Johnson, Rian and Grant in preparing our swimmers for the Age National Championships and Richard Washington Team Manager. Out of 13 clubs from SA, IMSC finished equal 4th. An amazing result. We’re just at the start of our journey and the future is looking great. Looking forward to having a bigger squad up here next year competing against the best in the country. 12.01.2022 Taking Photos and Videos at iSwim --- While we would love for parents/guardians to be able to capture special moments of their children in the pool, the safety and privacy of all iSwim students and carers is our highest priority. As such, no photography or videography will be allowed in the swimming centre until further notice.... We ask for your patience while we seek clarity on this matter, and we expect to provide a further update within the next two weeks. As always, the use of mobile phones in changerooms is strictly prohibited. Thank you for your understanding.

11.01.2022 With the nippers season over for 2021 we congratulate all our young swimmers and nippers on a wonderful season of surf. SA junior surf states. Swimming is so much more than just the learning and development of technique. One skill, so many options Nippers swim sessions run throughout the school terms.

11.01.2022 Update Monday 23 November --- Swimming lessons and squad training will resume on Tuesday 1 December, unless the current Government Direction is revoked earlier than that date or restrictions are extended. If anything changes, we will let you know as soon as possible.

08.01.2022 Update Monday 30 November --- Following our mandatory two-week closure, swimming lessons and squad training will resume on Tuesday 1 December. Due to popular demand, Term 4 will end on Sunday 13 December as originally planned, not Sunday 20 December as previously advised.... In addition to previous restrictions, the following protocols will also be in place for the remainder of Term 4: - Intro Squad and Club Squad swimmers must be dropped off ready to swim by a carer, with the carer leaving immediately and only returning at the end of the session to collect the swimmer - Learn to Swim students must arrive ready to swim (with bathers on) and we ask that carers adopt a 'wrap and go' approach and leave immediately after the lesson finishes to assist us in keeping the number of people in the swimming centre at any one time to a minimum - Strictly one carer per family is permitted to enter the swimming centre, except where a student is in Aquababes and the second carer is also in the water - Enter via the foyer as normal and exit via the emergency door closest to the Learn to Swim pool, or the emergency door at the deep end of the 25m pool for squad swimmers - Please do not enter until, at most, 5 minutes before your class and avoid waiting in the foyer as maximum density requirements apply - The dedicated COVID Marshal at the desk in the entry foyer will sign all carers in until the QR Code check-in system is up and running - If you or a family member are unwell, or you have attended a COVID-19 hotspot, please text us on 0455 885 518 and do not attend the swimming centre - Regular and routine handwashing and sanitising is recommended and entry and changeroom doors will be kept open to reduce touchpoints - A maximum of 4 people are allowed in changerooms at any one time - We strongly encourage the use of facemasks, especially where it is not possible to maintain 1.5m physical distancing. 02.01.2022 COVID-19 Directive Nicola Spurrier We need to significantly reduce number of people out and about in SA over next two weeks. Please cancel any competitions. No learn to swim classes and no recreational pool play and no parties. Elite squad/athlete training only. TBA Swimming for fitness TBA... Remember this is hopefully just for two weeks and if we all work together we can get on top of the cluster. Classes will be suspended for the next two weeks and the credit added to your account. We are extending the term by one week and finishing on Sunday December 20th. We are inundated with calls and emails please be patient and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
