08.01.2022 ITALIAN DAY CENTRE 16 Mar. 20 RESPONSE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC The Italian Day Centre needs to act in the best way to protect the health of clients, volunteers, staff and other visitors. People aged over 60 and people with chronic sickness are at greater risk from the corona virus. ... We have been following guidelines and advice from the Australian Government and have made the decision to stop the following services in both Hobart and Launceston until further notice: Meals in the dining room Exercise Class Bingo Community events Italian Pension services All other face to face activities. At this stage we are confident that Fresh Delivered Meals will continue to be provided to all our home-based clients. Outreach clients will be contacted and advised this week.
