25.01.2022 The Sansepolcro Flag Wavers have come all the way from central Italy to perform at the 2019 Italian Festival Darwin The flag wavers will be hosting a special preview of their routines in the Smith Street Mall today at 12pm to launch the festival. Make sure you head down for your opportunity to see some of the oldest traditional flag waving groups in action.

18.01.2022 The Italian Festival Association is proud to support its 2019 charity recipients. The Committee has matched the donations collected at the Festival's two charity collection points by presenting each charity with a $2000 cheque. The Black Dog Institute and HPA Helping People Achieve were the beneficiaries of the coins collected in the Trevi Fountain, while CanTeen Australia and Camp Quality were the combined beneficiaries of the donations collected at the Kids Area. We thank these worthy organisations for having partnered with us in 2019.

The Cooking Ladies held a cooking demonstration and the Tarantella kids group gave a preview of the dances they will be showcasing at the Italian Festival this Saturday 11 May To launch this year’s festival, flag throwing group Sansepolcro Flag Wavers from Italy will also be previewing their talents Friday 12pm in the mall
