25.01.2022 Hope everyone's got their electronic equipment away from potential floods. We're up for days of this if the meteorologists are right. The worst of it is supposed to be Friday and Saturday but we had more than we've had in a long while tonight. If anything electronic gets wet, unplug it as long as you can do it safely, and leave it unplugged until it's looked at to remove any remaining water inside or any corrosion that may have occurred. We can of course help with that. We can also do insurance quotes if anything is damaged beyond repair and help you get it replaced.

18.01.2022 Notice all these dips in the power, well at least in Gladstone CBD? Help prevent power problems when this happens by using an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Come in and have a chat to work out a solution for you. These dips are not good for your computer equipment and probably already has caused many people problems. We have a policy here with our and customer's computers of ONLY plugging one in if it's into a UPS.

16.01.2022 We repair water-damaged phones! Above/below is an example of a Samsung Galaxy phone that we repaired recently. You can only see about half of the corrosion in the picture. After some work, we got the phone's parts looking like new and the phone functioned perfectly, without any data loss. If you get your phone wet, take the battery out (if you can, if not, turn the phone off), and leave it out/off until it gets looked at. DO NOT try to turn the phone on as this is where the damage occurs. Get the phone in to us as quickly as possible to avoid extensive corrosion damage. If the phone is off when it gets wet, and you remove the battery, and get it looked at quickly, it's pretty much a 100% success repair rate, but goes down once power is introduced and when the phone is on when it gets wet, but almost all of them can be repaired.
