25.01.2022 I recently was researching what to do with worn out iphone and apple laptop cables and found this great video, its very DIY but it looks like it will work well so I am going to do it myself to prevent future breakages. Hope it helps! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy2QxeZ3gt0

25.01.2022 Hey I just recieved this encouraging feedback from a new client Ian after I helped him remotely with his Outlook on his Mac - here is his story; "My problem was trying to find someone who would work with "Outlook for Mac". Paul was able to help and called me back within 30 seconds. I had lost a bunch of data and could not recover it. Paul was able to restore part of it and I am certain that with the lost emails he will be able to recover at some stage. IT Call Out are a company that can be depended upon and we need people like them." If you need computer help in Perth or remotely anywhere in the world - send Paul a message through here or call Daniel on 0401 229 104

10.01.2022 So the government is starting a process to eliminate piracy in Australia.. however iinets reply is this; There doesnt seem to be any empirical evidence that either blocking websites or sending harsh notices to customers ... does anything to reduce the incidence of piracy. Show me the evidence, As a secondary issue, if we are convinced that it actually will reduce the level of piracy, then we need to talk about who is going to pay for it. The Communications Alliance,... the industry body for ISPs, has also argued that rights holders should fund the cost of any scheme, and ensure that content is available quickly and affordably. 06.01.2022 New for Gamers: Sony have officially announced "Project Morpheus" a Virtual Reality headset for the PS4. Back in the 90s I tried some really awkward VR game at timezone and it was amazing (and blurry), soon after VR seemed to disappear... but it is coming back.. Last year I tested the "Occulus Rift" a VR headset for PC and it really makes games come alive, though I did feel some motion sickness afterwards.... This could be the next big thing with gaming in the future... http://techcrunch.com//sony-announces-project-morpheus-a-/

05.01.2022 Here is a question from a client: "I cannot connect my ipad to WIFI, its working on other devices." What we would try; 1) Restarting the wireless modem. 2) Restarting the Ipad by holding down the power button for about 20 seconds, then waiting till the screen goes completely blank and then waiting for the ipad to start up again.... 3) turn on and off airport mode on the ipad. 4) removing the wireless network from the ipad, then setting it up again with correct password. Failing this I would reconfigure the wireless router, then try a different wireless router - if you need assistance with this - give us a call on 0401 229 104

01.01.2022 A friend of mine recently shared his experiences with the following services; Dropbox OneDrive GoogleDrive... Box I personally use dropbox and google drive, here are his comments; CLOUD STORAGE RESEARCH RESULTS By Adrian Mason OneDrive: Best if you have a Windows PC, tablet, and phone, and need to get to your files from any device with little effort. Dropbox: Best for simple sharing when you use tons of different kinds of devices. Google Drive: Best for Google diehards, or anyone who wants a few office tools with their cloud storage. Box: Best for Teams of employees working together on projects, and large companies that need a place to securely share documents with everyone. My current choice and usage is DropBox because I share a many files with many other users with all sorts of devices. I havent subscribed to any paid service yet as my free account transfer already overloads my data cap on my home office computer.
