Wooly Thyme surrounds the steppers to reduce maintenance and add a fragrant element to the living area. It is incredible what some concrete, drainage works, retaining wall and feature rock placement can do, what an outcome! Impractical areas completely tranformed - now totally accessible, this space can be enjoyed all year round! 13.01.2022 This block was sadly destroyed in the 2009 Black Saturday Bushfires. The aim for this project was to re create the original garden that was home to a forest of azaleas, rhododendrons and tree ferns. Working in conjunction with Cally Sinclair Garden Design we where able to bring this vision to life and we couldnt be happier with the end result

Clever landscaping using natural, recycled materials and functional planting... have kept with the character and charm of this beautiful building. 01.01.2022 This exceptional property is a Hedger Constructions home, based on a large town block with a huge water catchment above. An ornamental decorative dry creek bed was created to function as a storm water run off, so what looks to be a decorative feature is infact diverting unwanted water off the property. The Japanese style garden is topped with rounded glossy black rocks that contrast with mudstone steppers, open vast lawns and clever use of natural stone retaining walls that lead your eye through the garden. Ground cover make their way over boulders while three Coral Bark Maples dapple the sunlight into the courtyard. Yet again another beautiful design by the very talented Cally Sinclair Garden Design. All materials and plants for this outstanding job where sourced locally from our suppliers, Bedrock Garden Supplies and Buxton Nursery.

Making use of the natural environment using the surrounding views and hills-cape as the core element. Feature potted citrus and maple planting expanding beyond the house boundary with clever use of ornamental gums and low maintenance natives. Contrasting gravels to separate and distinguish open areas within the property, complimented by large feature rocks and spectacular mowbray stepping stones linking all areas as one.
