17.01.2022 Happy New Year to every person who has played a part in my journey this year, thank you for all of your support, dedication, honesty and loyalty. 2019 has been ...a major year for my career in Taekwon-Do. In February, I was invited to China by Alvin Wong King Way, this trip was very successful and resulted in over 25 Instructors joining our ITF. I made another trip to China in May, where we prepared for an IIC Course to be held in August. This was overwhelming and the beginning of something major in the Asian Region. The President of the ITF Grand Master Weiler was present and the IIC Course was conducted by Grand Master Marano and Grand Master Lan Ung, with over 100 instructors on the floor, it was very surprising to the Grand Masters to see the growth in China in under one year. The year also took me to the next level of my career, where at the ITF Elections in Inzel, Germany I was elected as one of the ITF Vice Presidents under the leadership of Grand Master Paul Weiler. It is a great honour to continue working for the ITF and helping to keep General Choi Hong His legacy alive. I was also fortunate enough to see our Australian Team compete in the World Championships in Inzel, Germany at this time which was a great experience for me. I travelled to Lebanon to catch up with my family and friends, and caught up with the President of ITF Lebanon, Gabby Abouslieman to discuss the future of the ITF in the Region. In September I travelled to Frankfurt, Germany for the first newly elected Board of the ITF Meeting. I travelled to Istanbul, Turkey in November where I recruited a new affiliation. Mr Ahmad Halabi is our ITF representative in Turkey and now Turkey is officially a Member of our ITF, which was off the grid for many years. I also travelled to Malaysia where I conducted a seminar and was in discussions about the future of the ITF. As you can see, I spent a lot of time overseas, and without the support of my club, none of this would have been possible. On a National Level, the level of support I received from Master Cariotis, Mr Trevor McIntyre, Mr Alfio Viscuso, Mr Shannon Purser, Mr John Adbullah, Mr Paul Harper and many more other people who help to run the National Association, all of their time and effort has resulted in our National Association being a major force. There are way too many people to mention you all by name, your work is not unrecognised and I appreciate every single one of you, so I conclude with A VERY BIG THANK YOU ! My Quote for 2019 is " The saddest thing in life is wasted TALENT " when you recognise your own ability the sky is the limit.

13.01.2022 Dear Taekwon-Do Family! The corona crisis is currently determining our private and public life and every day we hear and see new horror news through the media. ... It is time to convey positive news! For this reason, I would like to remind you of the founding day of the International Taekwon-Do Federation = ITF on March 22nd, 1966, which is repeated today for the 54th time (5 + 4 = 9). At that time there were 9 countries that were involved in the establishment, namely Vietnam, Malaysia, Turkey, Singapore, Germany, USA, Italy, Arab Republic of Egypt and Korea. General Chois dream came true to guarantee his TKD international circulation and recognition. Today, March 22, 2020, more than 100 countries are members of the ITF and are spread across all continents. This day should be a motivation for all of us to develop positive thoughts and maybe do a training session at home or read the history of the ITF in the encyclopedia. How about e.g. with the repetition / rehearsal of the Ko-Dang Tul !? With this in mind, I wish you all a wonderful day! Happy Birthday International Taekwon-Do Federation! GM Paul Weiler ITF President

08.01.2022 Dear ITF President, Board Members, Grand Masters, Masters, Instructors and Members all over the world, Yes indeed, we are traveling along one of the most difficult times we will ever face or have faced in our lifetime. A time that we experience having no control over a situation and having no answers. The whole World has been paralyzed by this virus. Tragically, a lot of innocent people have lost their lives all over the world and others struggling to cope. At the present t...ime we must focus on living the most normal way that we can, being very careful and considerate to others, following all of the advise from the medical and government advisers of your countries. This is the only way that we will stay safe. Through this difficult time we should remember our father in Taekwon-Do General Choi Hong Hi, by passing on his gift to us, the creation of Taekwon-Do, he has enabled us to be a family world wide. We need to more than ever support, love and care for one another with the highest regard to our art. We are all struggling as our clubs have been closed, as General Choi would say " you dont need a dojang, you can practice anywhere, anytime, any place. All you need are a few square meters to train. From what I can see the instructors all over the world are making the biggest effort in continuing their teachings online and not giving up. This is such a powerful tool to demonstrate our indomitable spirit. If we stand together as a family, we will get through this difficult time. We will come out at the other end with a stronger appreciation for life and a lot more value of each other. Every morning when we wake up, and see the sunrise, we must be grateful and appreciate that we have been given another day. Have faith, stay safe and strong. Regards, Grand Master Michael Daher Vice President of ITF Board of Directors President of ITF Australia
