23.01.2022 WOW - Thank you to the Mackay Regional Council for allowing us to showcase our ITF Taekwon-Do Academy. I believe over 8000 community members took advantage of the opportunity to see what Mackay has to offer in Sport and leisure activities. Huge thank you to the students and parents who helped make our day so great. The demo team were fantastic.

22.01.2022 Taekwon-Do was officially named 11 April 1955. General Choi Hong Hi founded the ITF on 22 March 1966. We celebrate the life long dedication of our Taekwon-Do Founder, and strive to share the legacy of his works.

21.01.2022 Great to see a strong group of white belt students testing in Kuranda today. The black tip and black belt class prior the grading focused primarily on self defense against multiple attackers. Congratulations to the participants from Cairns Beaches and Kuranda. Since COVID 19 has forced us to change the way we do business, I must follow through with what would have happened at our Autumn Grading in FNQ, if it had gone ahead. I would like to congratulate these black belts on receiving their ITF Dan certificates for testing that was conducted in Nov last year. BooSabum Lawry Goodwin - 3rd Dan; Jack Burnside - 2nd Dan; and father and son Tapio & Junis Linderhaus - 1st Dan. Congratulations gentlemen on this internationally recognised achievement. 11.01.2022 Covid announcement - For all to note. as of 29.3.2021. Classes in Kuranda, Mackay and Cairns Beaches must be modified. Qld Health have announced all persons must wear a mask. 04.01.2022 Update on resuming formal classes. Sadly, we have recently been informed our training venues in Trinity Beach, Kuranda and Mackay are not yet available. Therefore, hall training dates previously advertised must be put on hold. With luck, they may become open for hall hire in Stage 3.
