19.01.2022 Caring for a vulnerable person is one of the few employment opportunities that can’t be simply looked at as a job. The level of trust that should be required wh...en entrusting somebody with a task of this magnitude, dictates that the person who does the job should possess the character and empathy required to put their skills to best use. #eldercare #training Hear from Jakob Neeland and Peter Kyriacou ITHEA See more

06.01.2022 Some people believe that "knowledge is power" I believe that "knowledge is potential power" People tend to live lives of mediocrity, they tend to remain avarage..., they tend to think that the only purpose in life is to grow up,get good grades on high school, join a university, find an avarage job after graduation, compromise with a job that they working hard enough to do not get fired and they working hard enough to do not quite, make a family, pay bills and die!!!! Don't be like that!!!! Go out, find your potential, find what you love doing most, and find a way to get paid for it, don't live your parents life, do not listen opinions of people that they don't have what you want,if they can not see your dream is because was not given to them, was given to you!!! Get out there and get it!!!!!! And as Aristotle said : Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all... #graduation See more

01.01.2022 IMPORTANT CORONAVIRUS ALERT for ITHEA students and staff This notice is for the attention of all ITHEA students and Trainers who are concerned for their health. We want to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all and therefore are taking the following measures.... I wish to bring the following to the attention of all ITHEA students who are returning from overseas: 1. Those who have had contact with a confirmed case of Coronavirus are being urged to stay home and monitor for symptoms. In accordance with appropriate advice, any student who has been in contact with a person confirmed as having Coronavirus must not attend ITHEA for 14 days after the last contact with the infected person. Fourteen days, represents the internationally-recognised incubation period for this disease. After this time, the student is considered not to be at risk of infection. 2. Students who have travelled to the Wuhan and Hubei regions in China, during these past holidays, may return to ITHEA but should be carefully monitored for symptoms of Coronavirus infection. The most common symptom is a fever, while other symptoms include, cough, sore throat and shortness of breath. Anyone exhibiting these symptoms should be isolated immediately from other people and seek medical attention as soon as possible. Contact your GP or your emergency department or call the dedicated hotline on 1800 675 398. Please keep Triple Zero (000) for emergencies only. 3. If you have travelled to China and in particular, the Wuhan and Hubei regions in the past several weeks, you should contact your Medical Practitioner and request a Medical Certificate. This, in turn, should be handed to your Trainer in order to return to class. You may get further information from the Victorian Department of Human Services dedicated website at https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/information-public-novel-corona Unfortunately, this is not the best way to start the new year. We will try to keep you updated as more information becomes available. Regards, Peter Jasonides Managing Director, ITHEA
