25.01.2022 The beautiful Amalfi Coast, another stunning part of Italy. We stayed a few days in my favourite port of Positano with a few day trips to Amalfi, hilltop Ravello & Sorrento, getting around easily by local bus or ferries. We finished our time with an overnight visit to Isle of Capri as lovely as it was 35 yrs ago & it wasn’t enough time, never is! Our hotel in Positano was on the side of the mountain with stunning views over the township and out to sea with an awesome beach side bar and a lot of steps in between!! #neverstopdreamingandplanning

24.01.2022 Tuscany a name that evokes thoughts of sun, vineyards & historic hilltop towns. We chose to stay in a Agriturismo La Casella, just outside of Montalcino. Agriturismo are their farm/vineyard stays. The stunning scenery of the vineyards from your cottage with accommodation generally in old stone buildings is just amazing. Tuscany is easy to get around (by car though because of the hills), you can spend your days wondering through stunning little hilltop villages and squares and enjoying their local produce. People watching with a grazing platter of local cold meats & cheeses accompanied by local red wines. Beautiful!! #neverstopdreamingandplanning

24.01.2022 Woohoo! Monkeypod Kitchen is moving into the old Shore Bird restaurant location at Outrigger Reef. The renderings look AMAZING! Killer spot! Can't wait

21.01.2022 Dreaming of somewhere in the sun? Stunning Cinque Terre on the Ligurian Coast of Italy is one of my favs. The 5 villages that make up this region are close together and connected by stunning walks, a good rail network and a ferry service. There are a couple of other beautiful towns along the coast and together it makes the area an ideal place to stay for a few days of R&R. Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola & Riomaggiore are at sealevel and have many delightful swimming holes to enjoy the beautiful azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Corniglia is a hilltop village and is connected by rail and walking paths. Some of the paths can be quite heavy going and most people select parts to do on different days and perhaps the train back to their base. Stunning part of the world. #neverstopdreamingandplanning

The impact on the tourism industry is immeasurable. We are thankful for jobkeeper however require further Federal Government support. Once our borders open PLEASE support your local travel agent. 10.01.2022 This photo shows the real emotion that my colleagues at AA and UA experienced yesterday when thousands of them were furloughed from the career they love. Liste...n, none of us are flight attendants or ground staff because we enjoy handing you a water and a snack and showing you how to fasten your seatbelt. We do this because we have a passion for aviation, a love of people, and a desire to make your air travel a pleasant experience. The running joke among us is I love people. I love to travel. There’s a lot of truth to it, as corny as it may sound. To have that all taken away in the blink of an eye is devastating. None of us at any airline are safe right now. We are witnessing the decimation of the airline industry. It may be years before travel resumes at profitable levels. Businesses have found ways to continue to operate from home. Business travel may never return. Hug your airline friends today. I don’t think anyone saw this coming at the level it’s happened. My heart is breaking for us all.

07.01.2022 Reason 101 why you use a Travel Agent - I had a hard, long fought win today for some clients. No names on the suppliers but the policy was they were to finish ...their rearranged travel by the end of June next year or it would cost the 4 of them a few thousand. Their reorganised travel isnt happening until the end of the year and I was fighting (all unpaid work for my clients I might add!) for them to have the credit extended. Agents have good relationships with their reps and they work well to help us - even ones who no longer have a job with the supplier. Win for my clients - the National Account Manager stepped in and extended the travel time. #trydoingthatonline #withoutatravelagentyou'reonyourown See more

06.01.2022 You dont have to gamble to enjoy LAS VEGAS - amazing place! The bars alone are worth a photo gallery but they have issues with photos being taken inside. Summer or winter - doesn't matter! The snow took us by surprise in late Dec. We took the 40 min shuttle to the Fashion Outlets and when we stuck our heads outside an hour later we found it totally covered in snow (much to the kids enjoyment!) It was snowing on the strip as well but melted quickly due to the heat from the neons - great place!!! #neverstopdreamingandplanning

06.01.2022 Inside Passage, Alaskan Cruise - just amazing!!! The scenery is just stunning. When you are in the national parks, ie Glacier Bay - a National Parks person comes onboard and through your cabin you can hear her/him talk about the glaciers and how they carve etc. We had a suite and turned our couch around to face the verandah and were able to watch and listen to the commentary without going upstairs in the cold. The villages along the path are really quaint with their old style bars and saloons. A one way from Anchorage to Vancouver is my preferred way to go. Simply stunning!!! #neverstopdreamingandplanning

04.01.2022 #scmo please save our industry, so far your government just hasnt gotten it. Bill has!! Soo many agencies will be shutting up shop in the next few weeks becaus...e of how badly your government has handled the grant process. Jobkeeper has kept rents paid, licenses paid (to handle refunds!!) and staff on to chase refunds/credits. I dont receive jobkeeper but so many of my colleagues are & only just surviving on it and come end March they will have to leave the industry. No one in a retail shop can pay rent & wages with nothing coming in for the foreseeable future - who is going to look after all the refunds and travel credits then when the doors all get shut????
