23.01.2022 Ta daaaa!!! What is it? I hear you ask. This, my friends, is a WIP bag (work in progress). How many times have you needed a little bag to put an unfinished project in to take somewhere or to store for another day? I know I've carried work in progress around in paper bags, plastic bags, loose in my handbag, wrapped up in itself, because I was in a hurry and didn't have time to look for something to carry it in. As a consequence I've lost important parts of my projects because I didn't carry it safely enough. Well, not any more!! I've made the perfect WIP bag, zipped at the top and clear vinyl at the front so you can see what's in it and keep it all together in one place!!! I'm so wrapt with this project that I'm going to making them in 3 sizes. More details soon (doin' a happy dance!!)

17.01.2022 I've just discovered a bloke who makes mask spacers. It's a little plastic gadget that fits inside your face mask and holds the fabric away from your nose and mouth hence making it easier to breathe. If you order one of my masks make sure to tell me if you want a spacer and I will sew a little button into the mask for you to attach it. This makes the mask easier to put on and take off and keeps the spacer in place. Kev Rox will make them for you for $5 each. Order direct from Kev (He's on FB and on the Gallway Green page) and collect from Kev in Galway Green. My masks are triple layer with a pocket to add an extra layer or filter if required $15 adults and $10 kids.

16.01.2022 Ever have one of those days where you feel really clever? I'm having one of those days!! Trying something new.

14.01.2022 These are large trivets made from recycled sari silk and will protect your table from hot casserole dishes. Silk can withstand reasonably hot temperatures although you should let your dish cool a bit before putting on the trivet! I also make coasters and trivets that suit tea or coffee pots. I have used the last of the red but have deep plum. These large ones are $20 each with $9.20 trackable postage.

12.01.2022 I've been busy! 3 small purses for 3 lucky ladies! $15 each

11.01.2022 My over locker, sewing machine and iron are ready for bed, and so am I. 31 masks today- mostly grey.17 so far for tomorrow and thankfully not all grey!

09.01.2022 Yesterday it was strips, today its a purse! I made more fabric! Had a request for orange fabric. I don't have much orange so I made it from sari silk. I love it! Even though it's sold, please don't make me make any more fabric! It takes ages, I agonize that I haven't got the colour combination right, I fret that you'll hate it. So I make it anyway... This one is headed to Darwin

08.01.2022 So, what can I make from orange, purple and lime green sari silk? Stay tuned!

07.01.2022 Stages 1 and 2 complete. Next, overlock

07.01.2022 87 masks in 4 days! I'm taking the opportunity to preassemble more so I'm ready for next time. If you want a mask and want to avoid the rush, please message me. They are $15 adults, $10 kids, triple layer with a pocket for an added filter if required. If you want to order a mask spacer from Kev Rox (if you're in SW WA) I will sew a button inside to hold it in place. Kev sells spacers for $5 and you can find him on FB search.

01.01.2022 Masks, masks and more masks!!! Today I'm embarking on a "charcoal gray" mask marathon. 10 for men and 7 for women. I've managed to convince just one bloke to add at least a tiny bit of fun into everyone else's day; he decided to get one gray and one with trucks. Ok, ready, set...GO!!! See you tonight with the finished stash!!
