25.01.2022 A great group for the RMLV course at Alex Surf Club. earlier in the week run by Steve. Great facilities for the training, with plenty of space for everyone... and what an amazing view outside. Is there anything this venue doesn't have?

24.01.2022 We had an interactive RMLV course yesterday in Toowoomba, with some challenging questions to flesh out the workings of licensed venues. Thanks again to the revamped Club Toowoomba for the homemade cookies and great lunch! See you in a month.

24.01.2022 Great news! With the further relaxing of restrictions, in person training for all courses is now resuming, with dates secured for most venues and more to follow in the coming days. To help support those needing RMLV certification, we will continue to run RMLV training in both online and in-person, to ensure you have as many training options as possible. For those who've been waiting for bar skills training to resume, our 1st course is happening at the QA Hotel on 22-23 June. 21.01.2022 With a public holiday in some parts of Queensland this Friday, 14 August, its important to consider your ID scanning requirements for the long weekend. A Frida...y public holiday means the normal mid-week ID scanning requirements are not applicable for the trading day commencing Thursday 13 August, in affected Safe Night Precincts. Licensees permanently authorised to sell liquor after midnight on Thursdays must scan patrons ID from 10pm this Thursday, regardless of when you intend to close. ID scanning requirements will continue as normal for the remainder of the weekend. For more: http://ow.ly/6GCn50AW6Eb

08.01.2022 COVID SAFE Checklist Under Stage 1, 10 patrons will be permitted (at any one time) for dining in at restaurants, cafes, pubs, registered and licensed clubs, RSL... clubs and hotels, with a COVID SAFE Checklist. If you were permitted to sell takeaway alcohol under the current restrictions, you can continue to do this during stage 1. A *draft* version of the COVID SAFE Checklist is now online. The final version will be available in the coming days, but we ask licensees still familiarise themselves with the draft version, so they are aware of what is required of them. Once completed, this checklist does not need to be submitted for approval but will need to be produced if requested by a relevant compliance or enforcement officer. This may include providing an electronic copy. Draft Checklist: http://ow.ly/RGap50zClmc

02.01.2022 Hey Queensland As we work together to slow the spread of COVID-19, it's vital that you provide the correct contact information when dining in at restaurants a...nd venues. Providing the correct information ensures that in the event of a potential case, our wonderful team of contact tracers will be able to reach you quickly and rapidly respond to the situation, as we have in the past. If you have questions regarding privacy or just want to learn more about the information that is being collected, speak to the venue you are visiting.
