23.01.2022 Quick question.... Does anyone remember the ROFLcopter? .......ROFL:ROFL:ROFL:ROFL ................. ___^___ _...... L.........__/..........[].....\........ LOL===__...................\ ... L............ \___ ___ ___].... .......................I I........... ..................----------/..... (My image said all I wanted to say, so thought I’d put this out there, ROFL) (Also... that was really hard to do because Instagram deletes spaces hahah, I mean ROFL.) 1 WEEK TILL THE DOORS TO CHROMATICAL CLUB OPENNNNN!!! #roflcopter

21.01.2022 In grade 6, my besty Clare and I were library monitors for a week and we realised no one ever came to the library at lunch times. We were in there every lunch time with nothing to do as there wasn't anyone hiring books, so after a couple of days of creating dance routines in the completely empty mudbrick room, we decided to rearrange the entire library, redo the hiring process and set up a 'drive through library' where other kids could come by the window and borrow a book. (W...e got in a lot of trouble for this later.) All of a sudden... kids were hiring books. Simply because it was revamped, reframed, and the messaging was different. No longer was it a 'boring library' but it was something cool. We marketed it differently. Remember. If what you are doing isn’t working, it may not be a crap idea. Beause library’s aren’t a crap idea. This one just needed to be... marketed differently. If what you're selling isn't working, it doesn't mean you need to sell harder. You may just need to find a new way to shine a spotlight on your product or service. Don’t sell harder, sell smarter. Save this post to come back to later, or share it with someone if you think they need a little inspiration.

19.01.2022 I've been hanging out with my little Flo Rida today. NO WORK TODAY! None. Zippo. (Except I'll reply to your comments here o'course). I'm taking a big ginormous breath of calm and Florence today, because launch officially starts on Tuesday with the waitlist gaining early bird access to the club, then it gets even BIGGER when doors officially open on the Monday to follow. So today... I'm basking in the calm before the club.... I'm ignoring the nerves, the feelings of fear, the fear of 'I'm having a birthday party (opening the doors) and no one's going to come (join)', the fear of the unknown, the overwhelm, and alllll the work I still have to do in prep haha. I'm also ignoring the mega energy and motivation and mojo and passion and hyperness and high that I'm feeling in anticipation for this time. In anticipation for working with even more amazing creatives. All of those intense feelings can wait until tomorrow. I will talk myself straight then haha. Today is slow. Today needs to be slow. And I'm loving having the slow day with this one.

19.01.2022 Ranty rant. I saw a TikTok the other day where someone was responding to a trolls comment that said "She's charging people for things that can be Googled." Woahhhh. Have I an opinion on this or what!! Lots of information can be found on Google. Yep! But it doesn't mean you can can Google everything. Yes, you can Google how to style a product photo. But you can't Google 'This is my product, how should I style it so that it pops?'... Yes, you can Google how Instagram works. But you can't Google 'I struggle to get engagement, what am I doing wrong, can you look at my account Google?' Yes, you can Google 'How to turn polymer clay into a marble look' but you can't ask Google to give you months of time to trial and error, or budget to waste on product as you experiment in perfecting the art. I challenge these trolls to have a crack at succeeding using simply the things they Google without any time, money or skill in with the mix. Because you can't Google that. I can certainly Google how to make polymer clay earrings (and I did years ago) but do you reckon they looked any good? Heck no. They're in the bin because I didn't have years to spend perfecting the skill that would convert those Google learnings into anything even slightly practical. It takes 10 mins to read a Google article. That's the easy part. Add on months if not years of practice, experience, and a million other 'Google articles' onto that article in order to make that one 10 min article work. That's the reality. TLDR; Don't discount you or your product's worth because what you make or teach can be Googled. Because it's quite likely that it actually can't be Googled. Not even close.

16.01.2022 CHROMATICAL TIP!! Save this post. If you aren't confident about your offer, why would others be? This was brought up in a club masterclass the other day and I can't stop thinking about it so wanted to talk about it more. When it comes to what we offer, what we say, our words, our tone, our confidence EVERYTHING that we share online has to be confident.... We can still be vulnerable, we can be unsure about life, about direction about anything. That is TOTALLY okay to share about. But when it comes to your offer? We have to be confident. We need to stop curating our words to those who may judge us instead of those who love what we do. We don't need to be modest. We deserve to be proud of what we do and to share our confidence. We need to show that we are confident, or the people we are selling to won't be either. Do you think Apple got where they are by saying 'our products are okay'? Your words matter. If your words lack confidence, (and it was @byjenamarie who said 'confidence doesn't have to mean loud'.) then people won't be confident to book or buy from you. Here's an example: Which piece of art would you buy? 1I'm about to release my newest collection. I think it's pretty good. I really like the blue theme the most. I hope you like them. If they aren't exactly what you hoped for I can go add some different colours if that is more to your decor. I know these probably don't suit everyone's house or style but am here to help change them to suit. Stay tuned for the big release. VS 2I'm about to release my newest collection! It's my best collection by far. I'm so so proud of these. I really like the blue theme the most and I know you'll love it too. Wait till you see the entire collection. I lovvvve how amazing they turned out. Stay tuned for the big release. The first example is not sure of themselves. It lacks confidence and we lose confidence in investing in them. The second example lets people know that their works are worth investing in as the maker is confident. If you don't appear to be sure about your offer, your product, or your service. People will be unsure whether to buy. Don't let doubt creep in to your words!

15.01.2022 MY MARKETING ROCKS SWEATSHIRTS ARE LIVE! Feeling like if I were to attempt a pose for a 2000's Hillary Duff movie cover for a Herbie flick... this would be it! What is this pose Trish?? What was I thinking? It made me laugh so much I just HAD to share it as my announcement post.... I honestly have no idea what to do in photos anymore so this is what comes out. But hey... at least I have a rad sweatshirt to balance out the dorkiness right? Ok back to the sweatshirts... The link's in my biooo if you want to take a peep. There might even be a T-shirt version AND a Chromatical sweatshirt too eeee!

12.01.2022 If you want dibs on a place in my Chromatical Club mastermind... read on! There are two different masterminds available in the club this round (both include membership to the club o'course!) 1) Marketing Assembly - Where you join a group of up to 10 other creatives (your mastermind) for a monthly marketing & accountability call.... 2) Marketing Mentor - Exactly the same as Assembly, except 1 on 1 with me. When you join, I send you a HUGE template that is your marketing plan. This will make you think in ways you may not ever have about your business. It will stretch you but also excite you about what we will work on together. The first call is a biggy. This is when we all get to know each other. Your team. And we figure out the best steps forward for your business based on your marketing plan (that I will have studied before the call and made a million notes). Together we make a plan moving forward for next month. What will you do? What is the best path to get you to your goals? Your launches? Your plans? Your vision!? We work through that together. Then the next call, your mastermind and I keep you accountable so that you actually DO those tasks and set more plans for the next month. You will get SO much more done in your biz because you have this team and because you know exactly what to do. Every month we evolve the marketing plan to suit where you're at. A marketing plan needs to be fluid, so as you grow, as you hit goals, as your business evolves... it evolves with you and we do that together. These packages are SO impactful but there are super limited places because they take me a lot of time, and I need to still dedicate most of my time to helping the club. If you're on my waitlist the doors open early for you (on the 12th - Tuesday!!) which means you get dibs to these places. Doors officially open to everyone on the 18th! I have noooo idea how popular these will be as it's the first time they've been available, so just to be sure, if you want a mastermind spot... get on my waitlist and join during the earlybird period. DIBS THE CRAP OUT OF THEM! If you're not sure, PM me and I can give you a call to chat it out

11.01.2022 People come for the marketing advice... but often stay for the community. Swipe through these quotes from current Chromies about how MUCH they love the community within Chromatical Club. It's a whole different level of support in here. A different kind of world really.... The value of having the right people around you in business can often be worth MORE than marketing knowledge. When you surround yourself by positivity, passion, experience, stories, care, love, and lols... you can often do better in business purely because of that. SO many friendships, work relationships, and collaborations have happened because they met within these online walls. The club's value goes far beyond just education and knowledge. Many would say the real value is in the people. 6 days till doors officially reopen

08.01.2022 ‘Moments’ is my word of 2021. Moments for me are about capturing life as we live it. Not taking 50 curated photos of the same shot to sort through and pull myself apart to find the 'best' version. For my personal life, I don’t want coreographed moments. I don’t want to care about looks, because when I am, I ruin precious moments as I seek for ‘perfect’ shots. I also teach Florence that what I value most is looks. That doesn't sit well with me.... 2021 (for me) is all about raw, real, authentic and beautiful moments (like this shot of me in my dressing gown, wearing my new hat ontop of bed hair, surrounded by mess) being the focus of our lives. Not manufactured ones. Rearranging everything in a frame because it doesn’t look good the way it naturally is, takes away all that makes that moment true. So why bother even capturing it? I want to capture how life is for us in this time of our lives. However it is. I want to use photography as the medium to watch us change and grow. I don’t want Florence to grow up feeling she needs to take 50 photos of herself to get one that makes her or others feel good. I want to look back at my family’s personal photo albums and show Florence that there’s much more to life than ‘perfection’. Life as it is, is the real perfection. Digital photography has taken that away for me personally, so I want to retrain myself and it'll take time. 35mm will help! From now on I won’t be taking as much digital of my personal life. I will be taking just one snap on 35mm film of moments. I won’t know how it’ll look until it’s developed, and that’s why it's amazing. This... will be my real highlight reel. I’ll still be taking digital shots because I’m human haha, and I have a business to run that is very photo reliant on digital. But I’ll be coming at the digital side with a very different mindset. I have two cameras coming with me everywhere this year. My Yashica for everyday shots of our family adventures, and my Canon to take a photo a day of Florence and I however we come. To show her that how we look isn’t important, it’s about being together and doing things together and capturing moments together. What’s your word of 2021?

06.01.2022 Just a quick FYI, my Marketing Rocks sweatshirts will be ready to get your marketing loving fingerpegs on this THURSDAYYY They're pink, they're delish, and o'course... they rock!

02.01.2022 Thissss!!!! Thank you For The Love Of Vintage!! Doors open on the 18th eeee!! Can’t wait to help so many new creative businesses market their business

01.01.2022 CHROMATICAL TIP TIME! Anna from @withmy2hands gifted me this last year when Florence was born! It sat ontop of some of the most special handmade prezzies I've ever recieved. Isn't it the most special thing ever? But do you want to know what she told me?... She said something like that she nearly didn't send it to me because it wasn't good enough. UM SAY WHAT??? This illustration that I got framed and sits proudly on my desk, and that is one of my favourite things ever sent to me by a Chromie was going to go in the bin??????? CODSWALLOP! Could.not.believe. Every part of this artwork that she pulled apart and told me was 'wrong', I couldn't see. I saw no errors, just marvel and magnificence. So what am I sharing this story for? Because I want you to know that the things that you do that come naturally are probably greatly undervalued by yourself and HUGELY valued by others. Perfection as you see it, is very different to what others see. I know this story isn't uncommon. I know many creatives don't think what they produce is up to scratch, and I shudder to think how much has been scrapped and how many hours goes into redo's or even just spending hours longer on something that was perfectly fine before. Creatives.... you're awesome. Your work is awesome. Your mind is awesome. Your skills are awesome. We don't see the 'mistakes' that you think you do. So don't worry about them! Time is the only thing we can't get more of. Perfect is often already perfect to your customers or clients, hours or even days before you think it is. So before you throw something in the bin, start from scratch, or spend hours or days ammending and altering and fixing something that no one would know you did... stop. Remember this post. In fact, SAVE this post for when you feel like this! Because good is better than perfect. That time where you acknowledged your fab work and said 'done' instead of 'but...' is where you start to make profit. Love your guts Anna. And I loveeeee your work. I'd buy this, with no changes, in a heartbeat
