22.01.2022 Unfortunately due the Covid-19 restrictions we have been forced to cancel this years Walk for Wings Fundraising day. Debra Australia relies heavily on fundraising days like this to bring in as much money as possible to help out all the families all over Australia. Last year I walked the 5km in my little scooter as I am still unable to walk that distance on one go. The skin on my feet is way to fragile and sensitive. So I've decided to push myself as much as I can and have dec...ided that I will walk 1km every week day for the month of October. That will be 5km per week, ;having me the weekends to rest and repair the damage that will be done to my feet. I really want to raise as much money as I can so if you can donate or spread the word please do. I will be posting as much as I can every time I walk. 20.01.2022 Just casually driving back home from lunch out when a car smashed into a street light right in front of me sending the street light crashing down less the 2 metres away from my car. This photo was taken a few minutes after detouring to the police station to report it all. 1 second later or 1 metre closer and I’m guessing it would have gone straight through my car an most likely me. Lucky my car and me are completely unharmed. Ps the driver who crashed into the light drove off but the police have his details apparently.
