25.01.2022 LOOKING FOR AN ISO CHAMPION Exercise In Lockdown - well it’s our turn SA and together we can do this! Building movement into your day will help you to feel good over this time. Even a small amount of activity can make a huge difference to how well you think and feel. In fact, exercise is one of the most powerful tools we have for staying physically and mentally healthy.... For many of us, spending more time at home means sitting morewatching TV, working at the computer, being on Zoom meetings. But you can still find ways to incorporate more movement into your day. Try to think of physical activity as a lifestyle choice rather than as a designated event. Getting up every 30 minutes for a quick bout of activity can add up over the day. Intersperse household chores into your sitting time: vacuum a room, scrub a sink, do some yard work, or wipe down your appliances. Move around while you are on a call, stand for an online meeting, do squats or lunges while you’re waiting for a meeting to start, or jumping jacks in front of the TV during the credits or commercial breaks. Try ‘microwave exercises’ (short bursts of movement) like countertop push-ups, calf raises while you are waiting for the kettle to boil or toast to pop up. Do 1 minute of the following exercises counting how many reps you can do and then try and beat it the next day: Squats Push-ups Tricep Dips Squat kicks Calf raises Sit ups Up and Down Plank Post below each day what you got for each exercise- looking for an ISO CHAMPION!

The photo directly highlights what happens when you have a goal, overcome your fears of failing and achieve something you thought might be impossible. Our eyes are popping out of our heads! Excitement plus. Set yourself big goals and be proud of what you can achieve if you put your mind to it! #biggoals #achieveyourgoals #goals #excited #fear #comfortzones #memoriesforlife

22.01.2022 Fitness Tip No 5: If you want to have a healthy successful week, you need to set it up right. You need to prepare and plan for it. You need to be thoughtful and thorough about it. And the best way to do that? Through planning and preparing on a Sunday and scheduling it in your diary. #plan #prepare #organisation #success #successmindset
21.01.2022 Choose to Move this weekend. Every bit of incidental movement counts! Parking further away from the shop, taking the stairs not the elevator, walking on the beach, walking up and down your hallway whilst on the phone- it all helps! Incidental exercise is a fantastic opportunity to do physical activity with zero time commitment. It takes away the biggest barrier [to exercise] basically. #choosetomove #change #changeyourstory #incidentalexercise

12.01.2022 #yourbody #yourlife #yourchoice Not looking for sympathy I am absolutely totally fine. I am just posting this as I know what my calling in life is.. And for me this is assist people to find happiness through taking steps to a healthier life, which I have now been doing for 15 years and I ABSOLUTELY love it . Hence, for me it is really important for me to share as this year my health has been compromised and today I have had an operation..surgery on my broken . And once aga...in it has proved to me how important healthy living is and so very important in so many ways. For me personally the one major asset I have had on my side this year is the belief in my health. I have been a personal trainer in Adelaide for 15 years and this is now my time to walk the talk. In hospital right now, once again I lean on the knowledge that I am healthy’. I exercise daily, nourish my body with good foods, rarely drink alcohol and practice mindfulness. I have prepared my body for me this year and with kindness and patience it is continuing to be strong for me and stand up to its challenges. What I have also learnt about this year is that there is not much we can control but the one thing I can always control is what I do with and put in my body. The following are imperative to my life: exercise, nourishing foods, sleep, breathing, hydration my family and friendships so I can perform at my optimum each day. Moving my body through these times has been essential when I exercise I feel so much better if I don’t move I become lethargic, intellectually lazy and unable to respond to the demands of my daily life. When I move I feel so much more alive, energetic, engaged and connected. I have seen this time and time again with many of my clients who once they start moving come of long-term anti-depressants. Combining movement and diet with many of my clients who have been on long term tablets has proved lethal time and time again with many Dr’s claiming what they have seen as a ‘miracle’. No not a miracle just healthy living. There are many programs, products, tablets, books in the world about how to prevent disease, lose weight, increase strength, improve your appearance. The global health and wellness industry is now 4.2 trillion. Yet in Australia over two thirds of adults are overweight and over half the population are in some type of prescription drug for health problems. The solutions to these challenges, do not lie in technology, science or quick fixes they lie in the fundamental understanding of the principles of health and energy then everything else falls into place. When you look better, feel better, have more energy you can then optimise all the other areas in your life that are important to you. Never has it been more important to take little steps to a healthier lifestyle, each day so that you can enjoy tomorrow! Find something you love to do..walking, riding, dancing, swimming whatever it is JUST DO IT. #moveyourbody

06.01.2022 Fitness Tip No 6: Find yourself a fitness tribe, if you haven’t got one you are really missing out! This community should interact regularly, sharing life stuff, as well as fitness and nutrition stuff. The members should be able to ask for advice and critique, as well as provide guidance and support for others. The members jointly innovate ways the group can push themselves just a little bit further. There are no allowance for excuses; only acknowledgement of temporary fail...ure and encouragement to rise up again. The H Time tribe constantly encourage, support and celebrate eachothers goals and successes - I would like to hear from some members how did the H Time tribe assist you to get to one of your goals? @#tribe #fitnessmotivation #community #inspire #encouragement #support #guidance #noexcuses

04.01.2022 People who train together form a group identity and often feel more motivated and accountable than when working out by oneself. When you accomplish something on your own, of course, it’s amazing. Sharing your successes with your friends who know how hard you’ve worked to conquer your inner couch potato feels even better. And if things don’t go as planned? Who cares? A pat on the back from a friend can make things seem half as bad. These simple acts create a connection between people. And it is this kind of experience that bonds people together and makes their friendship that much stronger. #outdoorfitness #groupfitness #grouptraining #teamwork #motivation #accountability
