21.01.2022 Incase you didn’t know, spiciness is actually not a taste but rather a sensation caused by capsaisinoids, which are compounds that transmit heat signals to your brain. The brain responds by releasing endorphins, which is the body’s natural way of relieving pain by blocking the ability to transmit pain signals. Dopamine is also released, which is responsible for a sense of reward and pleasure. ... Almost like a drug, which some of you have even compared UmamiPapi to. But I promise everything in those jars are legit. It’s just really, really, really good chilli oil. You’ll know if you’ve tried it. And if you haven’t, I’m super excited for when you do. #chillioil #umamiparti
18.01.2022 This is Damian. Damian is the executive chef here at UmamiPapi. Damian has been cooking chilli oil in the kitchen every weekend with me since the early days. Damian is also one of my best friends. What Damian and I share in common is that we are both very passionate about food and cooking, as well being fascinated by the world of gastronomy. Damian is very talented in the kitchen, being an amazing Italian cook with his culinary repertoire consisting of extremely authentic and delicious Italian dishes, passed down through his Italian roots emanated from the Abruzzo region of Italy. We can’t wait to show you what we have in store. I hope you’ve been getting the subtle hints over the past few weeks. #umamiparti #chillioil

10.01.2022 I probably should’ve posted this one some time ago, incase you’ve never seen the UmamiPapi product info card here it is. Just a short little summary of my story and what UmamiPapi Chilli Oil is about! Really in love with it, all props go to @joanofarts for the design work! #chillioil #umamiparti
06.01.2022 Chimichurri is a herby, tangy and savoury condiment that originates from Argentina. It is the ultimate accompaniment to any barbecue or grilled meats and also acts well as a salad dressing or a finishing touch. The ingredients predominately comprise of fresh green herbs such as parsley or coriander balanced with extra virgin olive oil. It has a beautiful vibrant green colour, almost similar to a pesto and is filled with refreshing flavours. It packs a fresh, zesty punch especially when paired with a mouth-watering and well-salted steak. It is simply divine, even by itself on a piece of lightly toasted Italian bread. It’s not UmamiPapi’s next new product but it is something we’ve been having fun with in the kitchen. As we always do. It’s always a party at UmamiPapi. #chimichurri #umamiparti
