25.01.2022 Great post from a great friend

25.01.2022 Rest your mind, rest your body, rest your soul Beautiful artwork by @peopleiveloved Found @anxiety_wellbeing

22.01.2022 What an amazing initiative for new mum mental health! A new mum and bub ward so while mums get the support they need, they are still able to bond with their baby. Well done NSW!

22.01.2022 Just a little reminder if you need one today

22.01.2022 It’s like she’s in my brain .. another stunningly well written piece that hits me right in the heart.

21.01.2022 Still so true to this day

21.01.2022 After a strange few weeks online where my domain was taken by a woodworker in WA ... I’m back online with a fresh domain! www.itavcounselling.com.au I know there’s been lots of confusion, so big apologies and fingers crossed it doesn’t happen again

20.01.2022 As little or as much support you need. Very limited places available. Message or visit the website to book your place www.ittakesavillagecounselling.com.au

19.01.2022 @psychedmommy thank you for this! If this is you .. you are not alone.

17.01.2022 @mamainmind - so very true. Be kind to yourself mummas

17.01.2022 It seems so simple ... But so many of us struggle to get even a second alone on the toilet! Try for just 10 minutes at a time ... even if it’s once a week. Consistency is key! Even if you only manage 5 minutes, it’s not a fail ... it’s FIVE WHOLE MINUTES!

14.01.2022 Imagine a safe, supportive and non judgemental place to share with mums you are JUST LIKE YOU!

12.01.2022 A message from me to you

10.01.2022 This is me .. and my tribe! Drawn by the beautifully talented Stacie Swift I’m Kate and I’m a counsellor looking after the beautiful humans creating humans. He’s James, husband and father extraordinaire. There’s Mr 9, Jax .. Mr 6, Alby .. Mr 4, Moby & Miss 2, Pippin ... I just wanted to introduce myself if you’re new here! And I wanted to share my mission ... I have suffered from PND and still suffer from anxiety. I’m ok with that, I talk about it and I’m so much stronger because of it. I want the taboo of mental health gone! I want mums to get counselling if they are struggling .. you don’t have to have depression or anxiety, some days might just be a bit tougher than others. But I want you as a mum to be able to share and vent and cry if you need to with no judgement, just support

09.01.2022 Don’t forget to look after YOU mums! I offer one on one sessions every Monday & Thursday at Tumbi Umbi .. or I can come to you!

09.01.2022 Ain’t that the truth @laurajaneillustrations I can’t tell you how often clients finish their sessions with me and tell me how much lighter they feel.

08.01.2022 It’s ok to come along and give it a go. It’s ok if you don’t like it, it’s ok if it’s tough, it’s ok because we get it. We’ve been there, we are there. ITS OK!

08.01.2022 @speakonsociety has asked a truely important question. Why do you think? I think it needs to change .. and change starts with US!

07.01.2022 One of the most rewarding aspects of my motherhood journey was Mothers Group. I truely feel for those who have missed out because of COVID restrictions. My group sessions are the perfect alternative. Connect with mums who might be going through the same struggles you are, in a non judgemental and safe space.

07.01.2022 Spread the word team, no one should feel alone through this thing called motherhood.

06.01.2022 Seriously though ... if you could see yourself the way your child/husband/friend does ...

05.01.2022 One of the hardest things about struggling with motherhood, post natal depression or anxiety is the loneliness. My hope, my wish, my goal is to make mums feel as though they can share their struggles and battles in a non judgemental world. Where they feel safe to open up to friends and family without the fear of being judged. With the knowledge they can heal with the support of their people. Common Wild

04.01.2022 MUMMAS .. check this out! @georgiethenaturopath has summed this up PERFECTLY! I’ve been looking more into this over the weekend after listening to the @emsolationpodcast on Friday! Em interviewed @lucyspeaches who knows her stuff! Have a listen ladies and check out @georgiethenaturopath for more info too We can harness this power mummas!

04.01.2022 If you have a daughter, this is the event for you! Check out this amazing line up of speakers (including yours truely)!

04.01.2022 Being a mum is hard enough without adding in extra needs for you child. There is support out there ... for YOU ... the mum! Get your needs met in a supportive and non judgemental way. Connect with mums just like you and be gently guided by a qualified counsellor. Please get in touch today if you think this could be for you. X

03.01.2022 For the working mumma, the full time mumma or any mummas who need some extra support

02.01.2022 Full disclosure .. I have had a lot of anxiety these last few weeks. Heart palpitations, nausea and a general heightened feeling of unease. There’s nothing specifically to be anxious about, it’s just how I roll sometimes. So this week my goal is to be mindfully calm. Who’s with me?

02.01.2022 If you are a mum who constantly puts EVERYONE else before yourself then I am for YOU! You don’t have to do it all alone, you don’t have loose yourself in motherhood. Your family will thrive if you thrive. Please don’t forget about YOU!

01.01.2022 SHARE SHARE SHARE ... you never know who might need a little extra support

01.01.2022 As a parent you should feel supported, heard and free to share without judgement. I will soon be offering specific group sessions for you to connect with other people going though what you are. The connections you will make in these sessions will be so important for your parenting journey ... no one needs to do this alone.
