18.01.2022 Get to know Indiana Turner. Indy, 22 has started his career and based himself on the Sunny Gold Coast; Indy first gained his Experience in a small country stable in the Scenic Rim before moving to the Larger professional Aquis Farm outfit. To further his Skillset Indy set out to do a stint in the Breeding Divisions, where he spent over a year fine tuning and learning the ropes from another angle. After this Indy joined the Racing and Pre Training division headed by Kacy Fog...den. At any one time Indy had up to 20 Yearlings in his care that were being educated from the breaker to further there knowledge until handoff to their respective trainers; The precocious 2yr Old Dubious Would have been the most successful of the crop and it remains something that he is proud of to this day. For the last 2 Years Indy has occupied a spot as a Foreman at Michael Costa Racing on the Gold Coast. With a very high strike rate and consistent stock returning results, it’s a great team to learn off. It’s been very beneficial to replicate some aspects of training by focusing on what seems to work and what doesn’t seem to work for other people, while also adding my own methods as well to create a product that fits both myself and my horses. Michael being a younger trainer himself and going through similar struggles when starting out is an ideal mentor for Indiana, He’s been supportive of the attainment of his license and is a great pillar of advice whenever Indy has a question or needs another opinion. Indy has been very lucky to throw a saddle over some very nice horses in his short time and with your help the stable looks forward to throwing a saddle over many more.

16.01.2022 Stable Horse - Aberlady Aberlady is the 2nd horse to join the Turner Racing team, With a record reading 24- 4:1:1 Aberlady’s form tapered off last prep after running on firm 2 tracks and races not panning out to suit. Looking forward to bringing her back in work after another month out and getting her back to where she was at 2 preps ago winning 3 races and running a very credible 3 lengths off Le Juge who’s is a very strong Saturday Metro horse. ... Aberlady is currently spelling at Mountain View Spelling and Agistment and as you can see there doing a fantastic job with her

16.01.2022 *SHARES AVAILABLE* - New Horse Available - Bring Me Showers (Only Small % Shares Remain) Finally, I’ve been very patient & Passed on a couple lately but I was able to pick up this impressive mare by Sebring for a Great Bunch of Owners. Bring Me Showers; She was a Winner 3 starts back at a Metro Brisbane meeting. She was then beaten only 1 length at the Sunshine Coast and Last start was 3rd at a Metro Sunshine Coast Meeting held up and disadvantaged in the run home. ... This well bred Mare by Sebring has always been Consistent, She has not been more than 2.4 Lengths away in 6 of her last 7 race starts, With multiple subsequent winners from those races. 16.01.2022 Best Of Us - Reward For Effort x Can Do Lady (Retired 2020) Best of us was Turner Racing’s first horse in work, she came to the stables on the back of a two year spell and when she resumed with us it was clear she had breathing/bleeding issues and unfortunately never found the form she was once capable of. She was placed in very weak races and traveled to find races that she may have been competitive in, unfortunately her wind prohibited her from reaching her full potential with us. She is currently still retained by Turner Racing as she is a special part of history for both Indy and the company.

10.01.2022 Bring Me Showers She has made her stable transition and Resumed work this morning off a 4 week break. I’m Looking forward to working out some of her quirks, learning what there is to know about her and hopefully all going well getting her to the races this prep and having some fun with a great bunch of owners. Small shares are still available with 85% of her currently taken. Small Shares are very affordable and it gives absolutely everyone and anyone a chance to dabble in Racehorse Ownership for Less.

We’re currently watching some very nice types go through the auctions on Inglis, 2 horses in particular have caught my eye. 1) being a very lightly tried maiden which looks to have a lot of improvement that will find ground and be placed positively in provincial Qld company. ... 2) A cracker of a horse whose been very consistent and has won 1 from 13 but placed another 8 times, he ran a very respectable 3rd beaten a nose at the Sunshine Coast last week and will be a prospect that we can bring straight into the stable and knock off his class 1 win ASAP; he looks to be a horse that is going to like the mile and I strongly believe he’ll go through his grades and repay the ownership group. Both horses looking to be purchased for under 20k - Ownership opportunities available for all sorts of budgets if purchased ranging from $500 to full ownership. 09.01.2022 Stable Horse - "Best Of Us" Best of us is a 6yr Bay Mare by "Reward For Effort" out of "Canny Lad" With a race record reading 7-:2:1:1 "Best Of Us is a Headline horse that also marked the start of Turner Racing. I look forward to "Besty" returning to the stable in the next week from her freshen up at the stunning Embrook Stables and hopefully we can aim for a win this prep with the big girl.

08.01.2022 ** Ownership Opportunities ** I’m stoked with all the feedback and interest so far. The Ready 2 Race sales are around the corner and the breeze up process has begun, I’ve been through the catalogue pre and post breeze ups and have selected 6 that stand out thus far, with half the catalogue still to complete there breeze up gallops. I’m looking specifically for horses by 1st & 2nd year sires and from the tier 2 sires that won’t be fetching the overpriced sale results due to ...their stud record. I aim to be ahead of the curve and tap onto stallions such as Headwater, Mikki Isle, Maurice and Odyssey Moon all who seem to produce quality foals that also appear as good options to the international market if the opportunities exist. I’m chasing sound, clean winded gallopers that look like they’ll continue to run soundly after the sales preps, wether they have race preps and are kept for racing in Australia or are trailed/raced and then sold overseas will also be a determining factor. 08.01.2022 WATCH: Bring Me Showers enjoys her first HydroTherapy Session this morning in the spa and is settling into the Gold Coast lifestyle extremely well. The chilled water in the Spas is circulated around the chamber which helps to reduce inflammation and to improve recovery time. It’s a great tool to have and can be similarly compared to athletes using ice baths/showers for recovery.

04.01.2022 All starters under Indiana Turner wear the Navy/Aqua Colours. These colours were a big step in the process of setting up a stable, While seeming relatively unimportant, the colours to me signify a pair of silks that hopefully will one day be recognisable and associated to the stable by the eye of the everyday racegoer.
