12.01.2022 ITZ MAGIC TRIALS One stable of twenty five horses were examined by a vet as none of the horses were winning. All horses in the stable were examined and found to have the symptoms of Equine Herpes Virus Type 1 and Type 4. The whole stable was withdrawn from racing for eight weeks and all horses treated with 60mls of Itz Magic once daily by mouth for 25 days. On return to racing, that stable achieved a very high strike rate of success throughout the season with 80% of all ho...rses raced earning prizemoney. One horse, a three year old filly, was notable in that she had 13 unplaced starts prior to treatment. Post treatment, she placed second in her first start back and then won six races in a row. Her last start for the season was in the AJC Oaks in which she placed second. A four year old mare in the same stable after treatment won the mares race at Rosehill followed by wins at Caulfield on Caulfield Cup Day, Mooney Valley on Cox Plate Day and at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day.
