Get into good habits by starting with the most basic routine of sun protection, cleansing and moisturising, then work your way up depending on whether you feel like you need that little bit extra. Dont over complicate it but look for the signs your skin is showing you, not what everyone else is doing.

14.01.2022 2020, the year of what the.....! Aside from the obvious I think everyone has found themselves at numurous times this year feeling completely out of their comfort zones and not exactly sure what state of mind they are in. Some days I dont even know what day it is and forget about asking me the date (my phone tells me that on a need to know basis). I have felt that weekends dont feel like weekends any more, and motivation is really hard. ... So in case you are feeling a little crazy and lost at the moment. Just know that nearly everyone is, in their own way.

All of our formulations have been developed to include a harmonious blend of performing ingredients all at appropriate levels that provide the essential nourishment, protection and assistance your skin needs over time, yep over time! No skincare product will instantly zap you back 10 years overnight. The important thing for us is to also blend ingredients that work together the way we intended, like best friends. We dont formulate t...o include all the buzz ingredients or extremely high (and dangerous) percentages that may cause irritation or give you new problems that need fixing. Now, lets talk the order of ingredients. Legally you are required to list ingredients in order of volume and thats perfectly ok. But if you read somewhere or get told that a product is not as good because its number 1 ingredient is water, that is not the case. Water as a resource for formulating might be the best option for that product and by nature it needs to have enough of it by volume so you can either spread it further or use less per application. And as far as the cost goes, take it from us, some of the extracts and oils we use are pretty darn expensive, so even if we use a small percentage of them the cost is far greater than that of water or aqua (the fancier version). Some ingredients no matter what the formulation is simply cannot be used in high doses, so no matter what formulation they are in they will always tend to be placed further down in the ingredients list. It would be irresponsible to go against the scientific data that advises what safe levels ingredients should be use within. So just keep an eye out and dont get discouraged if you see water first or your favourite ingredient towards the end. Its a real balancing act when formulating and we want to ensure that our products are gentle, honestly good for your skin and perform like Peter Allen (or Beyonce).

10.01.2022 Happy Healthy Ready Sometimes its really hard to get motivated for the simplest of things, especially with everything that is going on right now. Working from home can be difficult without a team around you to create the buzz, reduced social interaction can make you feel less like interacting in general, you have to develop new routines that might not actually be what you want to do, so it is important to pause and take a breath and then pick out one or two tiny little things that can make you happy, healthy and ready to go. They dont need to be big goals!

We have been working madly over the past few months on our new packaging which we will be able to share with you all shortly (I know, it's like waiting for Santa). We have also been working with local (Australian) packaging suppliers who have been amazing in helping to bring this to life and we can't thank them enough for all of their hard work and answering all of my emails (there have been many) as well as problem solving, sou...rcing and fine tuning. Not only is it good for sizzling a snag (not that they need any more oil) but it's great on skin too with its Omega 6 & 9 contribution, incredible hydrating properties and a host of other great skincare benefits (let's keep this short and sweet). If you have only ever used it in the kitchen, you might find it a bit difficult to get past the bright yellow liquid and consider using it on your face.
