16.01.2022 hello my friends ....... yet again i have been informed that fabric blinds are heat retentive . THEY ARE NOT ! all blinds are what they are .. BLINDS ! you know ... so you cannot be seen ! .... You all request them because they are thought to be the "FASHION" ... and that is true ... because alot of manufacturers see them as quick and easy and very little interaction with the ill-informed / easily lead ( sheep ) / "i know best" ... customer required , and shows like t...he " block" prove this ... ALL blinds let 92% of you winter heat OUT ! ... double glazing somewhere around 75% loss... i say " around " because if you look into it on the web ... NO ONE will give you a figure for heat retention... (i sense a scam ) ... even the CSIRO have never tested it ...i rang them ... so .... when spending ANY of you hard earned money on ANYTHING ... engage your brain ,,, not your friend opinion .. 11.01.2022 if the 99.5% of the population knew what a proper curtain / window treatment was they WOULD NOT NEED HEATERS OR COOLING. they inform us in this story of drawn curtains reducing heat lose 15 /17 % ... ????? properley thought out designed created insulated draperies with pelmets are like 80 /85% .... and will last for 20 /30 /40 years ... THAT is your money properly spent
