24.01.2022 Well done to the swimmers who qualified and competed in the 2019 Optus Victorian Open Championships at MSAC this past weekend Alannah, Mia, Farah, Hanna, Jannik, Alexander, Callum, Olivia, Ryan, Thomas, Emma and Charlotte. Our team had so much fun meeting some famous faces and experiencing competition amongst the states big guns. Special congratulations to Callum who made finals for both 200 and 100 Fly, and our Mixed 4x50IM Relay Team (Jannik, Ryan, Hanna and Emma) who ac...hieved the National Qualifying time our first relay team going to Age Nationals 2019! Our Womens relay teams all did incredibly well the Womens 4x100 FS team (Alannah, Hanna, Emma and Farah) cut almost 7 seconds off their PB and came close to a National Qualifying time and finished 9th in the state, and the Womens 4x200FS team (Alannah, Mia, Emma and Farah) also all did PBs and finished 6th. Great job IAP and thanks to Yu for looking after our team!

23.01.2022 Well done to the 15 IAP swimmers who competed at the Metro All Junior Semi Finals at MSAC today. We had some amazing swims and lots of PBs. Good luck to Jannik, Ryan, Farah, Alannah, and Hanna who all achieved Top 10 placings today and are through to the Finals tomorrow.

This year we have our biggest state team yet 26 SWIMMERS who will be competing in individual and relay events! Its a huge accomplishment to achieve state qualifying times and you should all be proud of yourselves!! 17.01.2022 IAP NATIONAL TEAM!! Coach Yu presented national team tops to our national qualifiers tonight. We are very excited to have 6 swimmers represent IAP at the 2018 Georgina Hope Australian Age Championships in Sydney. As Yu says you need to work hard for this top, you cant just buy it. The team will be traveling to Sydney in the next couple of days to compete in a total of 14 events as well as a team relay!! Good luck national team, we know youll do us proud!! 14.01.2022 What an exciting time it was for IAP's National Team at the Georgina Hope Australian Age Championships in Sydney last week! Our swimmers competed in 14 individual events and a team relay over the week, with some fantastic outcomes. Ryan made not one, but TWO finals - for 100 and 200 breaststroke in his age group, and performed incredibly - and others came very, very close to making finals. James, Callum, Farah, Jannik and Alexander all swam PBs in their races, and IAP couldn't be more proud!. Well done team!!! Thank you to the parents who came to Sydney to support our swimmers and cheer them on from the stands, and our club members cheering on from home and watching the races on live streaming online. And lastly, a massive thanks to our hardworking and dedicated Head Coach, Yu Dong.

08.01.2022 Our swimmers and Head Coach Yu Dong will be off to Nationals in Adelaide this week!! Best of luck to Callum who will be competing at the Hancock Prospecting Australian Swimming Championships (Opens), and also to our Age Champs competitors: Jannik, Alexander, Ryan, Emma, Farah, Alannah and Hanna. 07.01.2022 It was a huge weekend for our state team at the Victorian Age SC Champs! Well done to all our competitors - we had many fantastic performances over the last 3 days with huge PBs and some great teamwork in the relays. Special congratulations to Farah who took home the Gold in the 100 and 200 Freestyle and Bronze in the 50 Free and 200 Individual Medley. Some of our swimmers just missed out on medals, placing 4th - Alannah in the 100 Free and 100 Back, Jannik in the 200 Back,... and Callum in the 200 Fly. Our swimmers gave incredible performances and many placed top 10 in their age groups - including Alannah (7th in 50 Free, 5th in 200 Back, 9th in 100 Fly, 7th in 200 Free), Farah (6th in 100IM, 9th in 400 Free, 6th in 100 Breast), Hanna (7th in 200 Fly, 6th in 100 Fly), Jannik (5th in 200 Back), Alexander (9th in 100 Back, 10th in 200 Back), Ryan (8th in 200 Breast, 6th in 200 Breast), and we had many, many more PBs! The team relays were so exciting to watch - all our relay teams achieved massive PBs and our 12-14 y/o girls team (Alannah, Chloe, Hanna and Farah) placed 6th IN THE STATE in the 4x50 Free and 8th in the 4x50 Medley relay. Well done to all our swimmers and special thanks to Yu and Dom for putting in the long hours over the weekend and taking care of our team - youve all done very well and we are very proud of you! 07.01.2022 *IMPORTANT COMPETITION UPDATE* VICTORIAN AGE CHAMPIONSHIPS Tonight, the finals session will be run faster than the advertised timeline suggests. The timeline sh...ould be shortened by approximately one hour, even though it is starting at the same time by awarding medals during races. Those in the relays will need to be here an hour before they were originally due to be. This is due to poor air quality from the bushfire smoke. When not swimming, swimmers can stay in the indoor area or the champions room to minimise time outside. Thank you for your cooperation. See more
