21.01.2022 This is a possible activity for you to do during lockdown. The link is to the State Government unclaimed monies register. It's worth having a look you never know what could be in there. As an example I go bike riding in a group of up to 7 in which four of them found monies some of which were quite substantial that they had no idea existed. It might be your lucky day!... https://www.e-business.sro.vic.gov.au/eBu/UnclaimedMoneys/ This is a screen shot:

Players enter as individuals and are paired with someone they might not usually play with. It’s working well. Thanks Peter for organising these days.

01.01.2022 Congratulations to Ken Stewart for being a member of the Ivanhoe bowling club for 50 years. During April 1970 the committee of the Ivanhoe bowling club accepted Ken's nomination as a full member. This meant Ken was transferred from the list of limited members to full membership. He was then required to pay an entrance fee of $21.00. How times have changed. Having joined the club for the 70/71 season Ken was part of a very successful time at IBC. During the period 71/72 to 77/...78 Ivanhoe won 4 Division A1 premierships and were runners up on 2 occasions. Ken was emergency for the 73/74 premiership and played in the 77/78 premiership. Ken's achievements also include wining the men's club championship in 84/85 the men's pairs championship on 4 occasions 83/84 96/97 02/03 and 08/09. He was also selected in the Group 11 team. Off the green Ken organized the Ken Gay/Cup Day triples for over 20 years. See more
