24.01.2022 2020 IVANHOE PIG COMP CANCELLED Due to the on going corona virus issue we have decided to cancel this years comp . If circumstances change for the better we w...ill definitely try to hold the comp at a later date . We would like to thank the people that have put there hand up to sponsor the comp this and hope that your businesses pull through the current situation well . If your able to get away over the June long weekend please do so . Small towns will feel it most along with small businesses. Ifthere is any chance you symptoms of corona virus please do the right thing and get checked out and think of others and there well being Many thanks and hope everyone understands our decision Thanks Josh

06.01.2022 G'day all Once again the Ivanhoe Pig comp is coming up on June long weekend. We are looking for sponsors for this years comp and are going with a new idea of sp...onsorship. We hope our previous sponsors will continue there great support and sponsor the comp in 2020. We have a few new categories this year which are Ivanhoe Pig Hunting Competition 2019 Categories 1. Top 5 Boars by weight 2. Heaviest Sow 3. Best Hooks 4. Heaviest Load (maximum 5 pigs) 5. 3 x mystery weights 6. Heaviest Pig Harvested by Female Entrant 7. Heaviest Pig Harvested by Junior Entrant 8. Longest Fox (tip of nose to tip of tail not including hair) 9. Most Foxes 10. Longest Wild Cat (tip of nose to tip of tail not including hair) 11. Most Wild cats 12. Longest Wild Dog (tip of nose to tip of tail not including hair) 13. All Wild dogs 14. Most Rabbits 15. Most Hares 16. Mixed Bag (Judged by Committee) We are looking for sponsors for each category .
