21.01.2022 On account of the expected high temperatures across Victoria tomorrow, Friday 31 January, Basketball Victoria and the VJBL would like to highlight the Basketbal...l Victoria Climate Policy. Our Climate Policy ensures games are not played in dangerous conditions so as to maintain the health and wellbeing of players, referees and supporters alike. Games will only be cancelled if the ON-COURT temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius, not the OUTSIDE temperature. Your association delegates and stadium management will enact the requirements of the policy as necessary within their stadia and monitor temperatures throughout the day.
