24.01.2022 Our Year 10 students have had a very productive Business Week! Students have planned and created their own cafes and food delivery businesses, which has included sketching and modelling their cafe premises, pitching their ideas in a "Shark Tank" scenario, cooking their own products and taking orders from Years 7 - 9 students to be delivered today at lunchtime! During the week they also heard from local cafe owner Justin Sirianni, who spoke to the students about overcoming some of the challenges in running a small business. #OurGirlsSpeakForThemselves #IvanhoeGirls

20.01.2022 Last week our Year 9 Religious Education students delivered a large range of goods to the Salvation Army to be distributed to the homeless. Students researched what would be most useful to donate, and collected food, hygiene products, socks, blankets, new toys, books, stationery and torches. 12.01.2022 On our Ivanhoe Girls' Alumni platform, past student Brittany Goss (Class of 2009) is doing an incredible job with the newly formed Lost Arts Club for our alumni! The club meet monthly to celebrate different forms of art disciplines through practical workshops and informative sessions on interesting topics. So far workshops have included a virtual drawing workshop and a free session of art and craft activities, plus some shared online resources for the artistically inclined. 09.01.2022 Registrations are now open for the Tim Gates Classic Fun Run, an event raising money to educate young surf lifesavers. The Tim Gates Foundation was established in memory of the father of Ivanhoe Girls' Teacher Ms Gates. This year's event is being held online - participants can complete a 5km or 10km walk or run in any location between Friday 1 January and Sunday 10 January.
