07.01.2022 Sundowner Apples are back! Sundowner is the grown-up apple of big brother of Pink Lady apples. Sundowner apples have a classic appearance, round with a greenish background overlaid with crimson. The skin also features prominent lenticels. The texture is firm and crisp, though not hard, and the yellow flesh is fine grained. The flavor is fairly robust, unlike the more delicate flavor of its sibling, Pink Lady. It is very sweet, but balanced by some tartness and notes of berries and spices. The sweetness of this apple intensifies with storage, changing the flavor somewhat.

02.01.2022 Just be kind. Reposted from another page. As businesses start to reopen, please understand they may have just survived one of the hardest professional and personal challenges they’ve ever faced.... While they’re excited to open, the owners and employees are still stressed. They’re not through the woods yet. Please don’t go to these businesses and complain about changes that were forced upon them due to lost revenue, lost employees, new policies and protocols. They don’t have the same business they had 2 months ago. They’re doing everything they can to adapt to the situation. But everything is different for them - as a customer you’ll likely never understand behind the scenes. Be kind. Be compassionate. Have patience. They’re still trying to recover from battle number one and their next battle of rebuilding has just begun. Support local BE KIND EVERYONE.
