24.01.2022 Dear valued and loyal customers , I’d like to personally update you on the COVID-19 situation from our perspective. First of all we are very appreciated for all your continuing support, Ivy Hairdressing has been looking after customers in Parramatta for over 12 years and despite many of our friends and neighbours here having to close their doors, we are pleased to let you know we are lucky to be able to remain open as an essential service provider. Your health and the health... of our staff is our biggest priority. We have already increased our cleaning practises to ensure our shop and all of our equipment is sanitised. This includes wiping down basins, hairdryers, seats and any other surfaces that are touched after each service. During this crisis we will need to make some changes to our opening hours as we expect the need for services will also change. We are still working out the finer details but at this stage we are open on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I will also provide you with my personal mobile so that you can reach me any time you’d like to talk or text about a booking. ( 0416082356) We are also exploring bringing our services to you and will email you again soon once we determine if we can go mobile. Any current future bookings will be honoured but please do let us know If you are feeling unwell, we’re happy to move your appointment to another day to ensure everyone stays safe. Prime Minister Scott Morrison has lifted the 30min rule effective immediately on salons meaning we can trade as per normal, of course taking into account strict social distancing and hygiene with COVID-19 top of mind. An official media release from National Cabinet has instructed that the 4sqm rule per person must be strictly observed within the premises and that personal contact during any client’s visit should be minimised wherever possible....
