24.01.2022 National Mental Health Month is an initiative of the Mental Health Foundation Australia to advocate for and raise awareness of Australian mental health. It is an important time where the Australian community comes together to raise awareness that #MentalHealthMatters. To allow engagement in activities aiming to promote a positive attitude towards mental health and the importance of a healthy lifestyle, IWAA Sydney hosted a Spiritual speaker to discuss these issues and raise a...wareness with vulnerable clients. 24.01.2022 Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. IWAA Sydney welcomed their Home Care clients to a boys’ BBQ to discuss these issues, symptoms to look out for and what treatments are available.
