25.01.2022 Top views at the top of Mt. Wellington. Our mountain day tour also includes Mt. Field National Park, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and Richmond. Thanks again #snarkyrichierich @ Mount Wellington

25.01.2022 Experience Tasmania's award winning cool climate wines and enjoy a scenic drive through the Huon or Coal River Valley. All tastings and sharing platters are included on this memorable day tour.

23.01.2022 Tasman's Arch is what’s left of the roof of a large sea cave, or tunnel, that was created by wave action over many thousands of years. The pressure of water and compressed air, sand, and stones acted on vertical cracks (joints) in the cliff, dislodging slabs and boulders.

22.01.2022 Sweet and Salty!! Guests visiting Australia must try Tim Tams and Vegemite or Tim Tams with Vegemite. Give it a go!

22.01.2022 We are honoured to win an AWARD as a supplier to one of the best Online Travel Agents. Love the tourist life!

21.01.2022 Another great day at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.

17.01.2022 Nothing to wine about down here. We make some of the best cool climate wines. Pinot noir and Chardonnay are our best grapes, making still and sparkling wines. Grapes used in sparkling chardonnay pinot noir wines are picked earlier than those used in still wines to maximise acidity; the style is therefore suited to cool-climate viticulture. Chardonnay adds texture and nutty and brioche flavors, and pinot adds its myriad aromas and red-fruit notes.

17.01.2022 Tasmanian Devil - Guests wanting to see this rare marsupial can join our Hobart Shore Excursion - "Hobart Wanderer" or "Falls and Devils" tour.

16.01.2022 This group from Hong Kong enjoyed a few cascades @cascadebrewhouse oysters @barillabayoysters history @Richmond and views @mount_wellington on their shoreline excursion on this beautiful spring day in Hobart.

15.01.2022 Fossil Cove is such a short walk for a great reward. The track leads down some steep steps through light bushland to the gorgeous cove with views across to the Iron Pot lighthouse. The cove is flanked by a large rock archway on one side and a fascinating fossil-filled wave-cut platform on the other both can be safely explored at low tide. Snorkelling is popular amongst the kelp beds around the shoreline, though be sure to do this in fine weather. Thanks #curieux88 for the amazing shot, and thanks for joining a tour.

12.01.2022 Scallop Pie!!! We are proud of our fresh seafood down here in Tassie. Scallop Pies have migrated to Melbourne but are traditionally Tasmanian. Jackman & McRoss and the Richmond Bakery make the best!!

12.01.2022 The opposite side of the blow hole. Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania. The suck hole was turning it on today.

08.01.2022 Sleepy Behavior and Eucalyptus Diet. During the day koalas doze, tucked into forks or nooks in the trees, sleeping for up to 18 hours. When not asleep a koala feeds on eucalyptus leaves, especially at night. Koalas do not drink much water and they get most of their moisture from these leaves. Thanks Sean and Abbery for the selfie and choosing to travel with iWander Tasmania.

07.01.2022 We usually do small personalised tours, but today we are doing a large family tour. We are lucky to be able to meet so many different people from different parts of the world. Happy holiday season!!!

06.01.2022 This little one was only the size of a grain of rice when born, he’s lucky to be going so well and making giant strides in 2018. Hopefully the AFL Kangaroos can follow his lead and bounce back. Go the Roos. The Roos host its first pre-season game at Kingston's Twin Ovals against Melbourne on February 24.

05.01.2022 Tiger quolls are the largest of the quoll species and is the largest remaining carnivorous marsupial on the Australian mainland. It's often overlooked in Tasmania as our devil takes centre stage. The tiger quoll has the second most powerful bite relative to body size of any living mammalian carnivore, only beaten by the Devil. They hunt mostly at night. Their diet appears to consist primarily of medium-sized mammals (up to 70%), including gliders, possums, rabbits, and even small wallabies. They also like carrion (dead animals), birds and eggs. The tiger quoll may live in home ranges that range from 580-875 hectares. They are related to the Tasmania tiger, let's do our best to make sure their fate isn't the same.

03.01.2022 It's that time of the year again. The weather and berries are warming up.
