25.01.2022 That time when I made loaded sweet potato fries. Cut sweet potato into batons, cover with a little olive oil and coat in Mexican spices. Bake in oven at 180 degree fan forced until crisp. Meanwhile fry up some bacon bits.... Transfer potato to foiled tray in stacks. Top with tasty cheese and grill until melted. Transfer to plate, top with smashed avocado, corn, bacon bits, Greek yoghurt, spring onion, cherry tomato halves and drip salsa on top. Serve immediately. #loadedsweetpotato #mexicanvibe

24.01.2022 Last year we really got to celebrate getting through Winter with the Winter Warrior breakfast. Even though we can’t physically be together, our Winter Warriors really committed this year and kicked some amazing goals including: Establishing stronger habits and thinking more consciously about my food choices... Drinking more water and going for a walk everyday Maintaining a gained fitness level and exercising more Increasing my awareness of veggie intake and sleep Doing push ups on my toes Creating some new habits which I can continue with Being heaps more active this winter! I feel more energised and ready to do things, it’s helped my self confidence a lot! Planning and prepping and not buying junk food! Doing regular exercise as I hadn’t been doing any! Sticking to my workouts, on average 3-4 workouts per week plus walking. I liked the weekly challenges and felt good about being able to do more/longer/better each day. Wow, as I was writing these, I am so proud of the participants and all their achievements. The aim was to get through Winter and create new healthy habits that support a healthy lifestyle, so I think we achieved that! Great work Winter Warriors! #winterwarriors #iwantfitness

16.01.2022 Just had a visit from the police today about my signage because it says ‘Session in progress’. I leave my signage out all day as it is helping my business survive during these times. It is a great way to get my name out there, especially on a busy road and with so many people walking at the moment. ... Thankfully I have a lot of support from my members who also help promote my business. Whoever decided to call the cops, just to let you know that they were really nice and we haven’t broken any rules. 13.01.2022 2020 What a Year! Watch the video & turn on sound to see the year we had a IWF. As this year comes to a close, I wanted to remind you that amazing things did happen this year .. even though it certainly doesn’t always feel like it!... 2020 was a big year for everyone! And we all know not everything went as planned. I got to meet & train some very strong & inspiring women! I even ventured into the online / virtual training world .. and it went pretty successfully, if I do say so myself! Many of my clients have experienced & achieved things they didn't think were even possible at the start of 2020 ... but with determination, strength, resilience & consistency they have: * moved more * done push ups on their toes * moved without pain in back, knees or hips! * felt strong & confident * overcome fears * gained confidence in themselves & their abilities * remembered that they are amazing women! Even though you may feel that 2020 was not kind to you .. I am positive that there are moments that you can reflect on that you are grateful for & proud of. Reflect on those moments, relish the feeling of pride & accomplishment, and know that you CAN achieve whatever you set your mind to in 2021! Wishing you and your family a safe and happy New Year! 13.01.2022 I did a 12.5km walk today with my #Coastrek team. It was a seriously early start, getting up at 5am and driving 1.5 hours to walk to Point Nepean. Now, I’m not one for super early starts but I managed to get up and do it. We were fortunate enough to miss most of the rain. The wind was mighty strong, it even made my hair stand up!! (Refer to pic haha)... I’m so excited to be walking 30km in 6 weeks time to raise money for mental health support @beyondblueofficial. It’s going to be tough but then so is living with a mental illness. #mentalillnessisreal

Maybe we think we’ll burden others if we tell them we aren’t ok, so we say we are ok. Maybe we say we are ok because we are actually ok, for that moment, but really aren’t ok at other times. It’s ok not to be ok. It’s ok to ask for help. It’s ok to let someone know that you aren’t ok. It’s ok to reach out, talk and express how you are feeling. We want you to... be well, we want you to be happy, we want you to feel better. Start with allowing yourself to open up with those around you that you trust.
