12.01.2022 Sydney ANZAC Day March Update

09.01.2022 Good morning all, We hope this email finds you all safe and well. In consideration of recent events with COVID 19, we are taking a proactive approach and putting into place safety measures to keep our community safe.... To this end we are postponing the training scheduled at the Blacktown Showgrounds next week until further advised. This decision has been made in consultation with MHFA Australia and in compliance with the official recommendations of the Prime Minister who has advised against gatherings in enclosed spaces. We appreciate the need to keep our community safe especially our most vulnerable, the elderly, young babies and the immunocompromised. We urge our community to also take precautionary measures to keep themselves and families well. We thank you for your willingness to participate in this invaluable training and look forward to being able to reschedule in the coming weeks. Sincere apologies, Joylene Kahotea & Mal Fruean Pacific Mental Health Initiative Culturally responsive evidence-based mental health and wellbeing support for Pacific communities across Greater Western Sydney
